We pulled away he looked just as shocked as I did.

"Wow! At first I thought you were making this whole thing up but you two are really in love!" Ella exclaimed.

"Yeah," I said blushing.

"Well why don't we all go on a date tonight?" Ella chimed.

"Good idea after good idea!" I fake smiled.

I looked at Tristan and he raised his eyebrows.

"Um my boyfriend and I have to discuss something is private!" I yelled yanking Tristan's arm into the other room.

"What the hell was that?!" I exclaimed.

"She said she wanted a kiss so we gave her one," He said like it was no big deal.

Truth is I actually had no problem with it, I enjoyed it! But I couldn't let him know that.

"It's not like it meant anything," He stated.

My heart sunk.

I know this is just pretend and I know it isn't supposed to mean anything it just... Hurts.

"So um are we going on the date tonight?" I whispered trying not cry.

I don't even know why I should cry over a fake boyfriend who doesn't have any feelings for me.

It's just a game.

Just a game....

Right?

He nodded and we went back in there, out fingers intertwined.

"So are you guys ok to be picked up at seven?" Ella asked and didn't make sure were going.

I nodded.

"Well we will see you guys soon!" She cheered and walked away.

"Just come by my place whenever your ready," I said to Tristan looking behind him.

"You ok?" Tristan asked.

I nodded unable to speak.

Well, so much for working on our science project.

Next thing I know the doorbell won't stop ringing.

"Coming!" I yelled.

Tristan stood there his blonde hair perfectly messed up and his blue eyes shinning.

I was wearing a a hunter green dress that flowed with a black belt along the waist line and straightened my hair. I only applied foundation eyeliner mascara and lipstick and with my flats I was ready to go.

"Well you look pretty handsome yourself," I grinned.

Tristan wearing a plaid shirt with white polo shorts.

I know it wasn't much but it looked sexy on him.

Why.

Why did I just say that.

Next Ella and her mute boyfriend pulled up.

"Wow! You guys look so cute together!" She squealed.

I fake grinned and then rolled my eyes.

"So were are we going?" I asked climbing in the backseat with Tristan.

"Well remember how I said we were going on a double date? Well I lied!" Ella laughed.

"Haha what?"I exclaimed.

"Well it's sorta like a double date except we're sitting at different tables!" Ella smiled.

I glared at her.

A date, with Tristan.

Never in my life have I ever except to do that.

We pulled out to a nearby restaurant and Ella and Chase went off to a table leaving Tristan and I at a booth, alone.

Perfect!

"Sooo.." I awkwardly said.

"Listen. We're on this 'date' and we can't really get out of it so we don't we just make the best of it!" Tristan explained.

"Whatever!" I said throwing my hands up in defense.

After a while of talking, laughing and awkward silences he brought up the worst questions.

"So what about your parents? I didn't see them when I came over so are like away are anything?" Tristan asked.

"Um." I cleared my throat.

"My mom and brother died in a car accidents years ago and my dad is always away on business trips. I only see him once if I'm lucky twice a year." A tear slipped down my cheek.

"Bella. I'm so sorry. I didn't know." His blue eyes were filled with sadness.

He came over to where I was sitting and gave me a comforting hug.

"Oh am I interrupting something? So sorry anyways were leaving now! You guys are going to see The Vow and we are going to see The Notebook ok? Now lets get in the car!" She demanded.

Of course Ella the wicked witch of the west had to ruin it!

We payed the check and climbed the car.

***

Halfway through the movie I blurted out, "I want love like that."

"You will," Tristan said not taking his eyes off the screen.

I smiled to myself but stopped.

This is all pretend.

Nothing real is going on.

I don't like Tristan and Tristan doesn't like me!

Right...?
