Chapter 2: Going on a Journey

~Time skip. Naruto's Age: 4. Gaara's Age: 4 Fuu's Age: 4~
(((AN: So, since Naruto and Gaara are the same age, I've decided to make Fuu the same age as them as well. This is due to the fact that Fuu does not have and official age, but seems to be around the same age as Gaara and Naruto. And thank you for reading. Naruto belongs to Masashi Kishimoto, so yeah. A young Naruto stood with Jiraya at the gates of Konoha. Naruto was bouncing on his heels, excitement evident in his bright blue eyes. Jiraya gave the young lad a smile of amusement. "You really can't wait to leave, huh, Naruto?" Jiraya questioned the hyper young boy.
"Of course! This is my first time leaving the village. Plus, I get to travel all around! It's gonna be super fun!" The child giggled in glee.
"So you won't miss The Sandaime? Or big brother Itatchi or-"
"Of course I'm going to miss Jiji-san and Itatchi-nii and everyone else! But they want me to be happy, so I'm happy!"
"Naruto, that is brilliant thinking. But never mask your pain. If you're ever upset, you just tell me, okay?"
"Okay!" Naruto's response was met with a pat on the head.
Behind them, the Sandaime, Itatchi Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha, and Kakashi Hatake appeared.
"Hello Naruto, my boy. I here you're going to go on a journey? Well we're all here to wish you a safe one." The Sandaime said with a gentle smile.
"Really? Thank you Jiji-san! And you too Itatchi-nii and Kakashi-nii. And you to Sasuke."
The two young boys exchanged smiles. Naruto adjusted his pack and waved at his friends.
"Jiraya, take good care of Naruto."
"Really? You're doubting me Kakashi? I took care of this kid for four years. The rest won't be that hard."
"I know, I know. But a gut feeling is telling me that you two are up for more trouble than you think. So just be careful."
"I will, I will. Anyway, goodbye everyone!"
"Bye bye!" Naruto and Jiraya waved goodbye to their friends and left through the gates.

~Time skip~
It was a few days since the duo left Konoha, and they were currently heading towards Sunagakure. But first, they decided to take a pit stop at a hot springs, mostly for Jiraya and his 'research.'
Jiraya and Naruto were currently in the hot springs, and Jiraya was peeping in on the female baths. Of course...
"Ne, Erosenin, what're you doing? You're not peeping on the ladies again, are you?" Naruto inquired his sensei and godfather.
"Of course not Naruto! I'm just doing some research for my latest novel."
"Suure." Was the student's reply, not buying a word his godfather told him. "Whatever you wanna call it, it's still peeping."
You see, Naruto is a highly intelligent child thanks to his combined training from Kakashi, Itatchi, and Jiraya. Also, Itatchi decided to teach Naruto that peeping on woman was wrong, so the village wouldn't have a younger version of Jiraya running around. Not that it was necessarily bad. In fact, only the perversion is bad.
     Naruto just looked up into the starry night sky and smiled. "It's going to be interesting, huh kit?" Kurama said to Naruto. If you're wondering, Naruto had decided to communicate to the kyuubi to see if befriending it would help with controlling its powers, and found out more about the kyuubi, such as his name was Kurama.
     "Yeah," Naruto thought back to Kurama. "This is going to be interesting.
