When A Nerd Is Fed Up

Intro

Jessica POV

I walked in the door of the so called best high school. I used to walk in through the back but a teacher complained and now I have to take the main entrance. I made sure my glasses was pushed up to my face and my headphones was turned up high and I tightened my grip on my books. I started walking trying not to pay attention to anyone. I walked to my first period which is English. Soon as I got to the door I was greeted by Aubrey.

"We'll look who it is little Miss bookworm." She said slapping my books on the floor.

"Can you not bother me today."

"I'll do whatever I want metal mouth." She said kicking my books across the hallway.

I began to pick up my books while everyone watched and laughed. I really wish I had first period with my best friends Emily and Marissa. They would've helped me and not laugh. When I finally finished I walked in the class and sat in the front. I opened my book and started to do the bellringer. I felt a paper ball hit my in the back of the head. I turned around to see August, Bryson, and Chris laughing. I picked up the paper ball and opened it. It said.

"Aye metal mouth give me the answers or imma have Aubrey beat yo ass after school."

I began writing the answer to the bellringer. I tried not to cry while writing it. When I finished I threw the paper ball to August and began to start on the class work. This is pretty much how I start my day. I have nine periods a day and I have Emily and Marissa in six of them. I finished the class work early and decided to read. While reading I was hearing my name being dragged through the dirt. I looked back and saw Aubrey and August looking at me and talking about me. I turned back around and put my headphones in and turned it up to the max. School is like hell to me. I get home and things get semi better. I don't feel completely loved at home either because my parents are never there. I was snapped out of my thoughts by people getting up and leaving the class. I packed my belongings up and grabbed my book bag. When I got up I felt August push me back into my chair.

"Humans leave first." He said leaving the class.

I got up and fixed myself. Whenever I'm getting bullied teachers are never around. I walked out the class and walked to Advanced Chemistry. That is one of my favorite classes because I have my best friends and I don't have Aubrey her friends or August and his friends. I walked into class and saw my friends sitting there waiting on me.

"Hey Jessie." Emily and Marissa said.

"Hey girls." I said sitting down.

"How you been today?" Emily asked.

"It was hell like always."

"Yeah it sucks that we don't have first together."

"I know but I have to deal with it."

"Yeah but you have us ok."

"Ok." I said opening my chemistry book.

The period was filled with us laughing and talking. My friends are the people who actually cares about my well being.
