The past few weeks I haven't been myself. Life has't been treating me the greatest. I always try my best to stay strong and smile but lately it has been extremely hard. I actually felt like I was going into depression. .
It was 9:00 AM on a Monday morning. I had just woken up a little while ago and was drinking some coffee when I hear the sound of Nick Jonas singing his hit song Jealous. My phone was ringing and it was my best friend Taylor.
''Amanda,get dressed you're coming to Flyers practice with me no ifs ands or buts about it.''
''I know its short notice but I know you been going through a lot and you're always working and since I knew you had off I thought I'd surprise you.''
Taylor is more than just a friend to me. She is my sister. I've known her pretty much all my life. We've been through everything together. As miserable as I was and as much as I didn't want to move I couldn't disappoint my best friend. Plus, being with her and seeing the boys will make me forget about my misery for a little bit.
''Aw Tay, you're so cute.'' I said. ''1'll be ready in 15 minutes.''
''Yay!.'' Taylor said sounding excited as can be. ''See you then.''
