So somehow, after all that mess, I end up on my uncle Devin's front porch. I strongly dislike my uncle because of what he did to my mother. When he and my mother were young, around the age of 17, he took my mom to a party. My mother was raped there and he didn't even care. He defiantly knew about it, and although he was drunk, My mom told him about it for the next week and he still didn't care. His response was "I know it sucks, but that's what abortion centers are for." I mean I think about this daily. Thinking that I had a brother or a sister and now he/she is gone. Yes, my mom did have an abortion. All because of this scumbag.
I rang the bell already pushing back tears.
"Hello? Who is i- oh my gosh hi Allie. What are you doing here sweetie? I've missed you so much."
"You know what, save it uncle Devin. I'm here because mom fell in the bathroom. She hit her head and got a concussion. She also fell on the blow dryer, so she has a few broken ribs."
"Oh my god, that's terrible! Is she alright?"
"Yeah, they have to keep her for a while but they need an adult to sign the papers. Can you come back with me to sign the papers?"
"Of course. How did you get here?"
"I got a cab. Now can you drive us?"

When we got there, my mom was watching tv, eating her hospital food.
"oh Allie, you're here! Where have you be- um Allie why is he here?"
"Okay mom, don't kill me, but they needed an adult to sign the papers and I didn't know anyone else."
"He's not welcome here. Sign my papers and get the hell out Devin."
"Look, I'm sorry Laurie, but it wasn't my fault you got knocked up at a party."
"GET THE HELL OUT OF THIS HOSPITAL DEVIN. NOW."
"I'll show you where the papers are, but as soon as you finish signing them, I suggest you take her advice."
As we walk towards the counter, I notice that my uncle is getting a bunch of dirty looks.
"Uh, why are you getting dirty looks from all the nurses?"
"I don't to talk about it. I'm leaving."
"Okay, bye."
I hate him so much. I have to get back to my mother. As I turn the corner, I bump into someone. Then I felt a hot liquid running down my shirt.
"Hey, what where you're going, and next time don't spill shit on me."
"I'm sorry. Here's some napkins but chill it's just coffee."
As pissed as I was, he was cute. Brown eyes that one could get lost in. Natural brown hair that was slightly pushed back. It doesn't matter though, the last thing I have to worry about is a cute guy.
"Thanks, but I really have to go."
"Whoa, what's the rush? I'm Ben."
"And I'm in a hurry."
I brushed past him and made my way to room 261.
