"I do. She'll do it for you. Darcy is going to be trying her best today, maybe if they share that they'll both be a little better." Jace replies.

I nod a bit.

There's a crashing sound back in the room.

"IT WAS BLAIRE!" Darcy exclaims.

"Was not!" Blaire yells back.

"Was too!" Darcy says, putting her hands on her hips as we walk in.

There's a pile of glass shards from Blaire's plate and some food that they hadn't finished.

"It's okay, we'll get it cleaned up." I tell them.

"It... Was Darcy!" Blaire chips in.

"Oh, come here you!" Darcy growls playfully and Blaire runs away, giggling as she does.

"I swear they could be sisters." Jace says as he helps me clean up the glass.

"Yeah. They both kind of clicked." I nod as Blaire runs back into the room and hides in a closet.

"Because I can't smell you or anything!" Darcy says, walking up to the closet. She opens it and Blaire screams a little though laughing. Darcy pulls her out. "Are you ticklish?"

"Dunno." Blaire shrugs. "You?"

"No, no, no, you are the one who's- HEY!" Darcy exclaims.

With delicate fingers Blaire pokes Darcy's sides. Darcy is very quick to get away.

"Ticklish!" Blaire giggles.

The scene is quite amusing. Darcy pouts a little and crosses her arms. Blaire simply walks away.

"You know Darren's scent is all over you, did you get down and dirty?" Darcy says and Blaire's face twists in confusion while I practically choke on air.

"Darcy," I growl.

"What? I'm just asking!" Darcy whines.

"I don't know what that means." Blaire frowns. Over the past three days, that sentence was the most fluent sentence she could say because she really didn't know what a lot of things meant.

"You don't have to." I reply.

"But... Darcy said... Ugh." Blaire stomps her foot.

"You know what sex is, don't you dear?" Darcy asks her quickly.

"I swear if you don't shut up I will throw you off the balcony into the pool." I growl at her.

"You can't do that, I have my phone on me!" Darcy exclaims.

"Try me." I reply smoothly.

I assume Jace is getting a kick out of this. Blaire looks between the two of us, her face contorted with confusion. But she's easily distracted by a knock at the door, running to get it. I follow behind her to see another alpha, asking Blaire if she is okay and if the meeting can continue.

Blaire is frozen in place. Eyeing the man warily and leaning back probably without meaning to.

"Yes, she is okay and the meeting will continue as planned." I reply, gently pushing Blaire back.

"See you then." And the man leaves. I shut the door and look over at Blaire who instantly relaxes.

"You're pretty brave walking into a room full of alphas in about... Fifteen minutes." Darcy says.

"Let's head down now before anyone else gets there." Jace suggests. "Then Blaire can watch them come in one at a time, it'll be easier for her."

"That does sound like a good idea." I nod.
