Hidden Secrets

The people who cared about you

Now feel the weight of what you've just done.

The kids at school feel sorry,

But some still call you selfish.

The preacher who only seen you twice in ten years

Now spoke of nonsense to your person.

The long deep gashes in your arms-

The ones of which the Pathologists couldn't fully repair-

Collide with the bumpy scars that over whelmed them.

The knife you used was now hidden away

And the pills stashed in your weeping parent's room

So many people wonder why you did it.

But, they will never know that the smile you plastered

On your face every day was fake.

And they will never know the secrets that broke you

They wouldn't understand even if they knew

You knew that.

That's why you kept them

That's why you decided to go

They would never get it.

None of them....
