The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton is now one of my personal favorites
It's a great book and if u ever have a chance to read it I recommend it and I wouldn't recommend the movie the book is 100000000 times better
I actually was most affected and inspired by Johnny
He was abused his whole life by his father and his mother neglected him and all he had was the gang it even states in the book that "he was the gangs pet, everyones kid brother."
But don't u even DARE SAY THAT U DON'T CARE IF HE DIED AND HE WAS A STUPID CHARACTER
he's such and inspiration he teaches us that no matter how horrible life is or how badly you've been hurt mentally or physically that u don't have to be a jerk, he was such a sweet guy even after how badly he'd suffered,just because he doesn't want others to suffer the way he did, and I felt like he shouldn't have gone the way he did, I wept for a hour after reading that he had died,I started crying when he got caught in the burning church and I was happy when he was in the hospital but to find out he was going to die there, like why do u troll me like that book ;^;
So if you say anything bad about him I tell u now and only once U CAN GO TO HELL BECAUSE U R TELLING ME U DON'T CARE ABOUT CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECTION
Sorry about ranting to much guys but I just got so attached and feel in love with this character and could really understand wat he was going through
But it's a great book and I really do recommend reading it
