5. I got Curious

Sonic's POV
It was 2 o'clock, the teachers let us out early for something, I was outside the near the school building as Sonia and Manic, by the looks of it they're talking to another green male hedgehog and a brown female chipmunk Möbius they're slow, I was tapping my foot until I saw Amy walking across me, she looks the same as usual but got curious of where does she live, then I saw Manic and Sonia walking up to me

Sonia: sorry for the wait, Sally was telling us a joke

Sonic: hey you know what, I'll go ahead okay?

Manic: what? Why?

Sonic: it's personal, see ya guys

I left them with a curious face, I saw Amy headed to the left so I continued to follow her, she's still walking passed the stores without making a stop, then she turned another left as I continued to follow, there's a few houses in this area wait a minute I live in this neighborhood maybe she lives around here as well, I continue to follow her at the left sidewalk then she turned right and when I look there's my uncle's cafe near the long way, she lives at my street I continue watch her and she walk pass by my uncle's house and pass by my neighbor's house and and she went in the house next to my neighbor's so she's one block away from me, it must been fate to live here? I felt a tap on my right shoulder and I turn and it's Sonia and Manic

Sonia: were you stalking Amy?

Sonic: what no! Besides I didn't know she lives one block away from us

Manic: and I say isn't must've been fate, c'mon let's get inside

We went inside and saw uncle Chuck cleaning with mom

Uncle Chuck: oh you guys are back early

Sonia: our teachers have somethings to do so they let us out early

Sonic: say uncle Chuck, do you know of that house one block away from us?

Uncle Chuck: oh that's Rosetta's house, she's my favorite customer, she's comes here after her work to have an afternoon snack, and which reminds me I forgot to give her order of 10 pcs of strawberry tarts 'pulls out a box' can you deliver this to her my boy?

Sonic: oh sure uncle

I placed my bag at the chair got the box then I head out, I walked passed by the 1st house then I walked to the door of Amy's house, I pressed the doorbell and the door was opened and shows a woman in her mid twenties wearing a plain green shirt with jeans

Sonic: excuse me but are you Rosetta?

Rosetta: why yes I am

Sonic: well my uncle wants me to give you your order of strawberry tarts?

Rosetta: oh your Chuck's nephew, and thank you for delivering this to me 'got the box'

Sonic: your welcome, and my name's Sonic the hedgehog I'm a classmate of Amy Rose

Rosetta: oh so your my daughter's classmate, please come in and have some afternoon tea with me

Sonic: okay

She let me in to her guest room, and it's a calm house while she went to the kitchen I sat at the sofa and it's soft like mine's at home, she came back with a tray of two cups and a teapot, and of course the tarts that my mom and uncle made

Rosetta: 'poured the tea in Sonic's cup' how much sugar do you need?

Sonic: just two

Rosetta: okay, 'puts two sugar cubes and handed to me' here you go

Sonic: thank you very much 'sipping the tea'

Rosetta: 'sat next to me' so your a classmate of my daughter, it's the 1st time a student who knows Amelia comes here

Sonic: she doesn't bring anyone to your house?

Rosetta: no 'picked one slice of tart and ate it' she never brought her classmates here, of course she can't talk, but she hate seeing people getting hurt, I remember coming to the principal's office a month ago cause Amy, Cream, and some bad girls in the office, apparently those girls bullied Cream for being nice so Amy came in and protected her, and also she helped her other classmate Tikal with her problem of stalkers, so she found where those stalkers live and told them of to the police, Tikal was grateful for her

Sonic: Amy has a nice side when she help others?

Rosetta: yes, but let me be perfectly honest with you, do you know why she can't let anyone be with her?

Sonic: no, why?

Rosetta: because she was born with the same power like I have right now, mind reading

Sonic: mind reading?

Rosetta: yes exactly, when she was 4 she can her voices in her head and she doesn't know why, but when she turned 5 before I enrolled her to kindergarten I told her about her powers like I had, she was surprised at first but then she gotten used of hearing or seeing what's on other people's minds, soon she doesn't want be with anyone cause she's afraid of hurting other's feelings, so she decided to be alone for the past 12 years

Sonic: I never thought Amy would be suffering, so she's kind hearted and protects her classmates who're in trouble

Rosetta: you know I heard your mind just right now

Sonic: oh sorry

Rosetta: it's okay, besides I can control my powers so I heard what you just thought and I thank you for saying that to my daughter, but Amy still wasn't able to control hers yet, ever since then she can still hear people's thoughts uncontrollably

Sonic: but this afternoon during lunch I felt her finger in my mouth, and then I can hear what she's thinking

Rosetta: I knew it, she put her finger with her saliva and placed it in your mouth, that means she gave you little bits of her powers of mind reading, it only works if you two are 10 meters close to each other

Sonic: oh, no wonder when she placed her finger in my mouth it taste like strawberries

Normal POV
Then Amy went downstairs wearing a red dress with white socks and white gloves and a red headband, she saw her mother and Sonic sitting together having tea

Rosetta: 'looked forward' oh Amy

Sonic looked at her with a surprised look

Sonic: oh Amy

Amy looked at Rosetta talking thru the mind

Amy: mom, did you know that he followed me, I heard Sonic talking with his siblings before I came to the house

Rosetta: I see, but he told me that you pass your powers to him

Amy: yes, because people won't tell him about this town, so I told him half of it

Rosetta: I see

Amy: mom, can I talked with him at my room?

Rosetta: of course 'turned to Sonic' my daughter said she wants to talk to you at her room

Sonic: oh okay

Sonic got up and walked towards Amy, then Amy placed her finger in her mouth and she pulled it out with her saliva and points it in front of Sonic, Sonic opened his mouth and takes it, Amy pulled her finger out

Amy: follow me to my room

Sonic nodded and followed Amy upstairs, while Rosetta's cleaning her stuff and thought

Rosetta: this boy's a keeper Amy, make sure you take good care of him

While they both walked upstairs Amy stopped cause Aino's in front of her, luckily Sonic can't hear or see what Amy's hearing/seeing cause she's the only one who can see her

Aino: so what are you doing with that boy who's curious about you?

Amy: cause I have to tell him your past, besides he can't hear me when I'm talking to you know
