- Third Person POV -

Elijah was searching the woods for Nina, who is still missing and he was even more worried after finding a truck full of dead Crescents.

"Nina! Nina!"

He held Hope as he searched for the missing hybrid. As they continue to search, they come across some traps left by the hunters that have been killing the wolves and they were coated in a lot of blood.

"Where is she?" A hoarse voice asked, causing Elijah to turn around.

It was Jackson, Nina's brother.

"Where the hell is Nina?"

After Hayley had told him of her encounter with Elijah earlier, Jackson had gone to search for his sister as soon as he learned that she was missing.

He was naked and hiding behind a tree and when Elijah looked closely, he saw that he was covered in blood. He'd obviously got caught in a trap and was now wounded.

- Nina's POV -

I was still trapped in the crypt with Davina and I was currently trying to get out, pounding angrily against the barrier, but of course, it was pointless. But I was pissed that she was preventing me from seeing Hope on the one night I could, so I kept trying and screamed in frustration.

Davina came back and I stopped.

"Davina," I said in a dangerous tone. "Let me out of her right now or I swear I will kill you!"

"You can try," she replied as she threw clothes at my feet but kept the blood bag in her hands. "Or we can have a polite conversation."

I glared at the 18-year-old witch. "You magically kidnapped me on the one night that I can see my daughter. Do not talk to me about 'polite!'"

"I drew you here to help you."

"Elijah asked you months ago to break the curse and you said no," I reminded her.

"The Regent of witches can't be seen doing favors for the Mikaelsons . . ."

I scoffed. "And that includes me."

". . . But maybe we can help each other."

When she tossed the blood bag towards me, I quickly grabbed it and started chugging the blood. Being trapped in wolf form for an entire month has made me crave blood endlessly, which is why I'm always so ravenous on the night of the full moon.

Davina continued speaking as I fed. "Look, I have access to the witch ancestors. I can channel the power of the one who created the spell that cursed you. You can be free, Nina."

"Under your terms, I'm guessing," I said as I licked blood off my fingers and considered her offer.

Davina nodded.

"Spill."

Davina sighed, hesitantly. "There's a witch in the Ninth Ward who hates that I'm Regent. She tried to kill me. If I retaliate, I'm starting a civil war and I don't want to do that."

I smirked in understanding. "But if a vampire killed her . . . Fine. Just tell me who you want dead."

I haven't had a good fight in ages and I love killing witches.
