Chandria's POV
“Mommy do you really have to go?” I smiled as I placed her on my lap.
“Yes baby. Mommy needs to work. Don’t worry, your Tito Quen and Grandma will look after you.”
“Okay. :((“
“Don’t be sad, baby. Mommy don’t like it when you’re sad. Do you want anything from the Philippines?"
“No… *pout* I’m just thinking about Dad.” My heart skipped a beat.
“You know I don’t want that topic, Chichay.”
“S-sorry Mommy. I’m just jealous of my playmates because they have a dad. They have two parents. *pout*”
“You have a dad. You have Grandpa and Tito Quen. What more can you ask for?”
“No. I mean… My real dad.” I can sense her loneliness.
“She’s a bad guy baby. You don’t need to know him. Am I not enough for you? Don’t mind your playmates besides, we are richer than them. Money is all that matters in this world.”
“..... *pout*" I placed her head on my chest.
You don’t need a father to be happy.
You don’t need someone like him in your life.
“I love you baby.” I smiled as I kissed her on her cheeks.
“I love you more.” I put her to bed and arranged her blanket.
“Mommy, can you read a story?” She sweetly murmured.
“What story baby?”
“A princess’ story. The one that lived a Happy Ever After with the Prince she love.”
