Frisk hated running. They felt their feet slamming against the ground, the shock shooting up their body and causing a chain reaction of pain. They whimpered, feeling both tears and blood flow down their body. Their most recent beating from the headmaster at the orphanage confirmed to them that enough was enough. The ground slanted upwards drastically, and Frisk, still sobbing, started to climb. They saw the yawning mouth of the cave before they arrived to it, gasping for breath, starting to crawl to the pit. They righted theirself, feeling foolish for their baby-like mode of transportation. That would've been a fine beating, Frisk thought, shuddering. I looked around, seeing a faded purple door leading to hell for all I knew. I stumbled over to it, both my knees scraped and bleeding. I winced at every step, thankful when I finally reached the door. All behind it was dark, except for a sliver of light on a patch of grass. On that patch sat a flower, its petals drooping sadly. Then it looked up. "H... Howdy?" It asked.
