The five year old girl thrashed around in the guard's arms trying to reach her mother. Her small hand outstretched towards the glass wall separating them as she cried and begged them not to execute her. "Mommy!"

Jamie startled awake, her heart pounding erratically in her chest as she struggled to escape the nightmare.

"Why do you always have to fight the guards? I mean I know why but just curious to see how you'll respond."

She smiled when her eyes met her best friend's, Jasper. He was strapped into the seat beside her with Monty, their other best friend, on her other side. "I didn't appreciate how they were grabbing me, Jazz." Jamie replied to Jasper, taking in her surroundings as she spoke.

"You know, we were walked in here, very civilly might I add, yet they had to carry you in because you had to be knocked out in order to get you to cooperate." Jasper mentioned with a grin on his face.

"What can I say, I'm a fighter." She winked at her friend before continuing. "Where are we anyway?" Her voice waivered as the ship jerked, catching her off guard.

"Oh, Jamie Jam don't you know you're not supposed to attack the guards until after they tell you what's happening?" Jasper snorted and rolled his eyes as he spoke so Jamie turned to Monty with an arch in her brow.

"We're going to Earth." Monty replied quietly with a sparkle in his eye.

Her mouth dropped open in astonishment as she realized her plan to get on the dropship worked.

A video came on then, interrupting their conversation. Chancellor Jaha stood on the screen as he addressed the "prisoners of the Ark". "Prisoners of the Ark listen close. You've been given a second chance. And as the chancellor it is my hope that you take this chance. This chance not just for you but humanity itself. We have no idea what's waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better we'd send others but frankly your crimes have made you expendable. If however you do survive, those crimes will be pardoned, your records wiped clean."

"Your dad's a dick Wells!" Someone shouted causing Jamie to laugh and search for the chancellor's son. She gave up when she didn't see him and returned her attention to the video not really caring what she missed.

"The drop site has been chosen carefully. For the last hundred years Mount Weather, a military base built within a mountain, was to be stocked with enough nonperishables to sustain 300 people for more than two years. No one ever made it there. Stay alive."

Before Jamie could say anything about the video to Jasper or Monty there was laughter on the other side of the ship from them that drew her attention away from her friends. She saw Finn Collins "Space Walker" floating around with a grin plastered on his face.

"You should strap in before the parachutes deploy!"

Jamie groaned when she heard Wells' voice. His father was solely responsible for both of her parent's death and that made her itch with excitement. This might just be the trip where she could get her revenge.

"No! Stay where you are!" Clarke's voice broke through Jamie's thoughts and she found herself eagerly searching the sea of heads for her cousin's blonde hair.

"Clarke?!" Jamie yelled so she would hear her. She spotted the familiar blonde hair and yelled Clarke's name again.

"Jamie? Oh my God! Jamie!" A broad smile appeared on Clarke's face when her eyes met Jamie's before her brow furrowed in confusion. "What are you doing here?!"
