If I Stay [Rewritten]

Present ,10:00 am

We were in the car listening to Selena which I did not pick

I look at my little brother and sigh

Emma:I thought you said I get to pick the music?

She turns around and looks at Tyler

Maria:she's right honey!

Tyler gives me the aux cord and I pick my music

I look at Tyler and thought if my parents were dissapointed in me because I did not turn out like them
Like me and mom went to all of my dads concerts
October 17,2005

Until in second grade we went to tour my new school and we went to the music room then I saw a piano it was really cool I went up there and played random keys it was awesome

I look at my parents

Emma:I wanna play it

I say with a big smile on my face

They both look at each other

A couple months later I got into the music room we borrowed a small keyboard which was like the piano (a/n:I think) except smaller I would play everyday I just loved the way it sounded my parents hired a piano teacher to help sometimes I would go to her house and play the actual piano

One day I got home and entered the living room that's when I saw it a piano of my very own.

Present :

A lot has happened in the past 2 years.

Isn't it amazing how life is one thing and then in an instant it becomes something else?

Like here I am emma the girl who thinks about the piano and jax and whether a letter is waiting for me at home and just like that.....

I see a car slip and it went straight in front of us then everything went
Black

August 30 ,7:00pm

Mom:knock knock

Emma:hey...

I say as I look in the mirror

Mom:have you decided what you're going to wear?

Emma:no.... I don't even want to go!

Mom:Why?

Emma:well he's the first guy I'm going on a maybe date with and I have nothing to wear...

Mom:here

She hands me a dress

Mom: if this jax guy does not see how perfect you are he is---

Tyler:blind and he needs glasses

I smile

Mom:come on ty so she can change

Tyler gets up from my bed and goes downstairs with my mom

I change and get ready

That's when I hear the doorbell I grabbed my things

That's when I heard voices and one belonged to my dad and the other to jax

Jax: wow that's emma ?

Dad:yes you know actually one time she ---

I knew what he was going to say so I hurried down the stairs

Emma:hey!

Oh god jax looked handsome in that suit!

Jax looks at me and smiles I smile back

Emma:we better get going !

As we walk out the door

Mom: be careful out there I heard it gets pretty wild!

Emma: we will! I say as I look at her

I close the door and walk down the steps

Jax:your family is very cool

Emma: yeah..
I say shyly

Jax:come'n let's get going !we don't want to miss the show!
