Life Changes

One

Olivia walked into the squad room tired. She spent another night wondering where Brian was. He does this once a week. She slummed down in her chair and began to work on paperwork.

"Long Night?" Elliot asked.

"Yeah.." She sighed. She smiled when he handed her his still warm coffee before getting up to get a new one.

Olivia was still working when Brian walked in at lunch time looking hurried.

"You ready?" He asked in a rush.

"Bri if you have work we don't have to go to lunch besides I was about to call you I can't go. I'm behind on paperwork." She lied.

"Let's just Go Olivia." He said frustrated. She huffed getting up following him.

When they made it to the dinner Olivia became quickly annoyed with Brian and his rushed attitude.

"What's got you in a rush?" She finally asked.

"Tucker... Now where is our food."

"We could have rescheduled Bri. Really it's okay."

"Well sorry I didn't want to come home and hear you complain about me always working"

"Not now Brian." She said rubbing her head. Soon Brian was fed up with waiting and left. When the waitress finally did come Olivia asked her to change Brian's order and gave her an extra tip.

"Lunch?"

"Usual dinner?"

"Yeah."

After texting with Elliot she put her phone down and waited.

When he did arrive she gave a weak smile before he sat down.

"Where's Cassidy" he asked. He never did like Brian or how he treated Olivia.

"Work." She said simply. He just nodded knowing not to push it. The joked around and talked before heading back to work for the day.

When Olivia made it home she found Brian drinking on the couch. She shook her head before going to their bedroom to go to sleep.
