"Trees are strong. Trees are sturdy. Trees are useful. Trees fear nothing, not even time. There's only one thing that can bring a tree down, completely disintegrate it, wipe it off the face of the earth-and that is fire."

Daphne Keeley, AKA The Nymph, is a superhero. Except, well, she's kind of a sucky one. Because what good can a superhero who turns into a tree do?

Antonio Dmitri, AKA Firestorm, is a super villain. And, well, he's kind of a brilliant one. Because what good can a bad guy who sets things on fire do?

There's only one weakness that Antonio AKA Firestorm possesses, and unfortunately for Antonio AKA Firestorm, that weakness happens to be Daphne Keeley, AKA The Nymph, AKA literal tree-hugging superhero, AKA poison expert, AKA bright blue eyes more intoxicating than any of her mixtures.

And it's just Antonio AKA Firestorm's luck that he would run into Daphne AKA The Nymph getting attacked in a dark alleyway by three large formidable men and, out of the minute goodness left in his heart and sheer curiosity about how somebody's eyes can be that goddamn blue, Antonio AKA Firestorm rescues her.

The worse part is, he lets her go after that.
