Chapter 12: I love you
* One week later *
I called the hospital to check if Yvette was in one of them.
I found the hospital and took royce with me.
"I'm looking for Yvette Martinez." I say to the front desk lady.
"Umm she's in room 117." She said.
I power walked to there and knocked in the door.
A doctor opened it.
"Ah... Aren't you Mr.Rojas?" He asked.
"Yes...may i see my girlfriend?" I ask him.
He sigh.... Oh no!
"Mr.Rojas.... I'm afraid that Yvette will or not make it...." He said.
I felt like someone stabbed my heart and left the knife there.
"You can say your goodbyes..." He said letting me in.
I saw Yvette awake looking dizzy.
"Yvette....! Oh my gosh! I love you! I'm so so sorry!" I say giving royce to her.
She took him and looked at me.
"Geoffrey... I love you... Tu es mi luz... Te amo... Mucho..." And with that I heard a sound I never want to hear.
Her heart stopped beating.......
"Mr.Rojas it's time to go." The doctor said.
I took royce out if her hands and walked out crying.
I got in the car and cried like forever.
I look into Royce's eyes and it felt like looking into Yvette's.
He had the eyes of her... I cried more and more.
I started at his eyes and it reminded me of Yvette and me having good memories.
The day we met, danced, friendly date, our first kiss, and our new born child royce.
I hugged royce and I think I heard him say....
"Daddy"
I look at him confused.
"What did you say?" I asked him.
"Daddy!" He said clapping.
A smile grew on my face... I hugged royce tighter.
"Oh! How I wish your mother would hear this!" I said crying softly in his shoulder.
My baby's first word when my love had just died.
