Races that appear in Eragon Series Youngest
Just like before, I'm going to give you guys the laydown of creatures that inhabit Alagaesia. There's one addition to the mix, so the rest should just be a review.
Angels (Ailithians)---Humanoid in appearance, they have pale skin, pointed ears, and eyes that have 'rings' of color in them (three different shades). They have angel-like wings that they can veil and unveil using magic, usually the same color as their hair. This is a relatively new species that Eragon discovered on his travel East and included them in the dragon-bonding spell. (I'm sure many of you realize I've just input my Elfvens from Aeria into the story. These are different because their hair are regular colors and they call themselves Ailithians, or, Angels.)
Dragon (Shurtugal)---Reptilian creatures with variations of horns and wing types.
Dwarf (Knurla)---short people who live in the hills (under and above them).
Elves (Fair folk)---Humanoid in appearance, they have angular features, slanting eyebrows, and pointed ears, and a feline face; they were generally tall and always slim, and more greatly gifted with magic than the other races.
Fanghur---Giant serpents around twenty feet in length, with bat-like wings similar to those of dragons, but smaller, could not breathe fire, and were less intelligent than dragons. They had dappled green or brown scales. They stunned their prey with an immobilizing mental screech and then killed them and they usually hunted in groups of three or four. It is possible that dragons and fanghur are distant cousins as they both can fly (and possibly using magic as dragons use magic to fly as well) and they both have mental powers.
Fuermawl---A de-evolutioned dragon that lost its ability to fly. However, they maintained their gigantic size and bulk.
Grey Folk---first people to utilize magic. They thought their spells instead of said them, until they bound magic to speech (called the Ancient Language).
Half-Elves---A hybrid species that were a cross between an elf and a human.
Humans---people who came to Alagaesia from across the sea after the Elves.
Kull---Born as Urgals, and through their growth, they grew progressively larger until they were above eight feet tall.
Lethrblaka---They had tight corded muscles, large, leathery wings, very strong hind legs, a thick hide, a beak seven feet long and eyes the size of a grown man's fist, with no pupil or iris. Its body had the appearance of a starved, furless dog. Their blood is blue-green. They are the parents of the Ra'zac.
Nidhwal---A type of de-evolutioned dragon that lives in the West sea of Alagaesia.
Ra'zac---A creature whose exoskeleton resembles that of a human, allowing it to blend in. They have eyes with no pupil or iris (I think of them as bugs) and beaks instead of mouths.
Shade---A Sorcerer possessed by a spirit or spirits, losing their own minds and becoming a new creature.
Spirit---No definite form or appearance and could, assumedly, take the appearance of anything they wished.
Urgals---Humanoid in appearance, with grayish skin, bowed legs, and thick arms. They have yellow, piggish eyes, claws on their hands in place of nails, and a pair of long, twisted horns protruding from above their ears. Urgals can be anywhere from six to nine feet tall.
Werecats---Sentient creatures with shapeshifting abilities, being able to take on the appearance of either a human or a large, shaggy cat. They are very crafty.
Wild humans---Carmel-colored humans that live in the upper region between Du WeldenVarden, and the Angel's RedWood forest. Unlike Nasuada's people, they live in the forest and are lighter skinned than her people.
Next comes the list of exhisting and new dragon riders by generation--->
