Calum
My boyfriend, who was walking side by side with me had his lips lifted up, a wide smile appeared on his face as he laughed with an arm engulfed around his body for more support, light brown eyes lighting up as a hint of happiness, even though it looked more like an amusement, honestly.
"A girl threw a mayonnaise right on your face!" he still laughed, high pitched voice mixed along with a chorus of unbearable laughter.
I rolled my eyes amusingly, but still managed to smile. "That was a long time ago," I shrugged nonchalantly, acting like it wasn't a big deal. "But yeah, I admit that was pretty funny."
Dylan was still breathless because of his previous activity, trying to recollect his breath by inhaling an air as he placed a one hand on his chest. It was nice hanging out with him, he acted like he was more like a friend than a boyfriend. We could talk about anything, from serious things until the dumbest things that we ever experienced before.
Basically, he was good. Dylan was such a nice guy and i think, I'm really glad for choosing him as my lover for the current ten days. Well, even though I did it randomly, I still felt grateful.
"So, don't you want to sit? Let's go to the park near here," Dylan suggested as he smiled, slinging his right arm with my left one and I smiled back.
I nodded as an answer, circling his arm more tightly as we walked to the park near over here. We exchanged words, laughs, and some simple kisses before we both finally reached there, our feet crashed against the rough grass before we slotted ourselves onto the wooden bench.
I saw a few other couples were sitting in benches, one of them there were only holding hands, their fingers locked with each other as their lips wide open, small chuckles escaping from their steady breaths. Their relationships just looked so - innocent and pure, and I really wanted that right now.
I just want Luke to be here right now, with me.
"Hey," Dylan's small voice broke my thoughts that were keep haunting my mind and I immediately averted my gaze towards him, wondering for a moment what he was going to say. "You dated Luke a while ago right?"
Once I heard Luke's name being mentioned, I involuntarily furrowed my eyebrows together as I asked him back with a simple, "Yeah, why?"
Chuckling, Dylan drew himself closer to me, his cold skin brushing with mine and it felt like he was freezing because of the cold temperature due the weather.
"You like him, don't you?" and that was when, my heart abruptly jumped at the question that it felt like practically ripped my chest open as thousands of questions surrounding my mind. How did he know? Maybe he had a magical powers to read someone's mind or someone's past?
Seeing my shocked, or maybe more like a speechless expression, Dylan only continued it with chuckle leaving from his lips, smiling as he did so. "I saw you both kissing when I was about to call you, if you're wondering how did I know. But, I don't mind it, it's just a game after all."
"Erhm, yeah?" I asked him back, confused with how I should answer his previous statement.
"Just- don't date him okay? Don't ever let yourself fall in love with him. He's not good for you, you deserve better."
Narrowing my eyebrows together in confusion, I asked him once again. "Wait, what? Why?"
"You know, it's pretty hard to explain," he huffed, scratching his hair nervously before continuing, "Me and Michael, Luke's best friend dated a long time ago. Yeah, best friend my ass. Erhm, so long story short, I visited Michael one night and he was fucking Luke. So, Michael cheated on me, with Luke, and they still stayed as a best friend until now. Isn't that great? Best friend forever!" Dylan chuckled bitterly, his voice slowly disappearing into haze before sighing and keep looking at the ground.
