Stiles walked through the halls, completely unaffected by his surroundings, like a zombie come back to life. He hasn't said a word since last week, he just stopped. None of his friends noticed, not a single one. That empowered Stiles' silence. Literally everyone but his friends noticed the Great Silence that Stiles is in. They are all concerned, no one noticed before but, there was a sort of relief that Stiles had brought whenever he'd be overly excited about something with a huge smile on his face, it gave the subtlest sense of hope to the Beacon Hills population. His friends rarely approach him anymore, Malia and him broke up and she's been focused on getting used to returning to society, Lydia spends time with Kira when they both go to seek more answers as to what they are, and Scott doesn't treat him like his best friend anymore. Stiles has been alone. What's the point of talking if no one's there to listen? Teachers are very concerned, the first days they were relieved, but then they noticed that it wasn't a pleasant silence, it was disturbing.
When Stiles was little, after his mom died, he was silent for a while but afterward, his curious and erratic mind wouldn't let his mouth stay shut he spoke passionately about anything and everything. But now, now what was the point? It's been days since his phone lit up with a new message from anyone. There was nothing for Stiles to do, it's not like he needs something supernatural to happen in order be occupied but, not even just his friends are around him.
This continued for about another week until one day, Stiles woke up in a confined, tight space. He was in a trunk, we was sure of it. He must've been sedated or something, his mouth was really dry, who knows how long they've kept him unconscious, Stiles tried his hardest not to panic, it was the absolute worst time to have an attack. Two hours later, the car stopped, Stiles heard someone get out of the car, two people actually. When he heard the trunk open is when he realized that he was also blind folded, everything was still pitch black to him. The two men grabbed him by both ends and carried him for a solid three minutes into a cold area, he could hear several doors opening and closing. He deduced that he was in a house of some kind and eventually ended up being laid on the cold, hard floor, cement basement maybe? Stiles hadn't made any movement during the transition from the car trunk to the basement so the kidnappers still thought he was knocked out, they untied his limbs and took off the blindfold, promptly leaving him and locking the door behind them.
Stiles opened his eyes and took in his surroundings still without moving, he was in a locked cage within a locked basement. But there were two cages and two prisoners, himself and another man he could see from his peripheral vision, that's when the man started speaking to him.
"Hey, kid, are you okay?" he said in a hushed tone.
Stiles finally lifted himself off the ground and assessed the situation, he analyzed possible exits and weapons. The stranger continued to look on and recognized the look on Stiles face, the thought process going on in his head was the same process he had himself when he first woke up. Stiles finally looked at the stranger locked up next to him and saw a very tall man with shoulder length hair, they were both sizing each other up, wondering what the other did or is involved with to end up in this situation.
Stiles finally spoke, "Yeah, I'm fine".
The stranger nodded, "I'm Sam, by the way", and Stiles mirrored his nod and identified himself as well,
"Stiles." Stiles' mind did what it always does, wonder and piece together the information he has so far. First he was kidnapped by two men, taken from his home in the middle of the night, only supernatural things happen to him so they couldn't have been humans. Another thing was the distance or time he was in the car for, he wasn't in Beacon Hills, that's for sure, at least a state away. Based on the way him and Sam are held captive, unbound but in cells, they must be in the middle of nowhere if the kidnappers aren't worried about them shouting or anyone hearing or seeing them. They wanted them alive, the empty tray in his "neighbor's" cell corner confirmed that, this means it might be a trap for his friends and whoever his "neighbor" knew in the supernatural world. As Stiles came to his conclusion, sat down on his cot, there was literally nothing in the cells but a small cot in the corner of both.
