Chapter 4

'But what if they have the opposite effect?' 

'I am not going to sugarcoat this. Listen, if this work, he will come to you and if it doesn't, well it is not like he can be worse than this, right? So why not give it a try?' 

'Alright.' She still looked uncomfortable but this can prove to be in her favor since most of the guys are possessive assholes.  

'Okay this is the plan.' I explained to her the plan and hoped that it worked.

I was standing in the corridor searching for a suitable guy. God must have heard my prayers because walking in the corridor was Liam. He was one of the hottest guys ever to be born. He was not from the jock group and hated each of them with a passion.  

'Hey Liam I need to talk to you.' 

I took him to that part of the school which was usually empty. At first he was reluctant but when I promised to help him in homework, he agreed. The things you can do with brains!

School got over and now it was time to put my plan in action.  

Liam was waiting outside the class along with Melissa.  

'You both know what to do right? Please don't screw this.' They both nodded. I and Melissa walked ahead while Liam was to enter a bit late.  

'Don't you dare screw this Melissa?' She just rolled her eyes but I know that she listened. I spotted all the jocks in their usual spot in the parking lot. It is time!

We were walking; actually I was walking with Melissa who was yapping loudly so as to get Alden's attention. Not that she had to so a lot of work, the moment Melissa came out of school, Alden's attention turned towards her. At first he seemed surprised, and then it turned to anger. If the guy cared so much about Melissa, then why doesn't he accept her?  

We were walking when Liam came and wrapped his arms on Melissa from behind, 'hey babe, are you free in the evening?'  

I discretely rolled my eyes in the direction of Alden to see him fuming. If looks could kill, Liam would be six feet under. 

'Sure Liam, I'm free whenever you want me.' Alden was ready to kill now. They were ready to kiss going in the slow motion style when Alden walked incredibly fast to separate them. Liam and Melissa's lips were touching when Alden separated them. 

'What are you doing?'  

'Can't you see, they were trying to kiss?' Alden turned to look at me and I had to admit, for the first time, I was scared! 

'What I do is none of your business Alden, so I suggest you stay away from it.' Go Melissa! Alden turned angrier at that.  

Me and Liam looked at each other and couldn't help but snicker.  

Suddenly the ground disappeared from my feet, I was hauled upwards by a strong force. I looked up to see myself close to Alden and his usual sky-blue eyes were dark black. He had an arm around my neck and the other was pulling my hair. The air was supply of my lungs was being cut. I could barely breathe. Suddenly, Alden dropped me down. I held my head in my hands and started coughing out loud. I could hear voices shouting and screaming, but I could barely hear them. I tried to hold on to my consciousness as much as I could but ended up fainting. The last thing I heard was Easton screaming my name.

Easton's Pov

Neveah, the only word on my mind since afternoon! Today was my birthday, my eighteenth birthday, the day where I was to be give my rights as the alpha. Today was also the day where there were many chances that I would find my mate. It was not necessary that I will find her today, but chances were high.
