I laid down on our bed with my back against Shawn's chest, and his fingertips leaving a cold, but loving trail against my bare hip. His short breaths travelled down my neck and down my back, leaving me shivering with delight, and soon enough, he replaced his breaths with loving kisses against my skin.

"Good morning, Rebecca." He whispered as he continued to let his lips fall on to the back of my neck, and eventually behind my ear.

I laughed softly before turning around, seeing the beautiful face of my husband of five wonderful years. "Good morning, Shawn." I greeted with a smile, my hand up on his face as I played with the cheek on his scar with my thumb, looking up at his fawn brown eyes that sent butterflies in my stomach even without the intention to.

"We have the whole day to ourselves. How'd you like to spend it, baby?" He asked, expecting me to answer though he kissed me for a good while before getting interrupted.

"Mommy? Daddy?"

Shawn pulled away with a cute awkwardness that made me laugh underneath our shared duvet. He sat up on our bed, propping himself up with his hands. "Yes, baby girl?"

I shifted around in the covers, looking over at our five year old daughter with a messy bed head and ruffled pajamas where one pants leg was higher than the other, and half of her bright pink shirt was tucked inside. I couldn't help but to smile.

She giggled, running over to our bed with her short legs before jumping on to it, one leg off and one leg on, but with the help of Shawn, she was up with ease.

"What's so funny?" Shawn asked, grabbing her and setting her down on his lap as she giggled some more.

"What were you and mommy doing?" She asked, a cheeky smile plastered on her face as she continued to giggle some more, leaning her head back in to the crook of Shawn's arm.

Shawn, wide-eyed, looked back at me. "Yeah, mommy, what were we doing?"

I laughed, sitting up with one quick motion as I grabbed (y/d/n) and swung her within my arms, laying her back against the bed as I tickled her, causing more giggles to erupt from her peach lips.

"M-Mommy! S-Stop i-it!"

"Don't worry, baby girl! Daddy will save you!" Shawn exclaimed, along with a huge smile as he swept in, grabbing her by the waist before pulling her away from me. He held her tightly, warms squeezing against her body, his angelic laugh harmonizing with our little girl's giggles.

"Thank you, Daddy." She said, wrapping her tiny arms around his neck, as Shawn placed a hand on her back, a hand that looked so big compared to her.

"You're welcome, baby girl." He responded, letting her sit down on his lap.

"I'm sorry, baby," I said to her, sweeping a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "I didn't mean to. Will you forgive me?"

She nodded with a grin, crawling over to me as she gave me a hug similar to the one she gave to Shawn, with small hands wrapped around my neck as I wrapped mind around her small waist, giving it a playful squeeze. Her face was stuffed in the crook of my neck as I said, "I love you, baby."

(y/d/n) giggled. "I love you, too, Mommy."

"Give Mommy a kiss."

She moved her head out from my neck and looked at me with a smile. She, then, puckered her lips and leaned in against mine for a quick second before pulling away.

"Hey! What about Daddy?"

(y/d/n) didn't take long to crawl back toward Shawn and give him a quick peck before hugging him.

He held her tightly, slowly leaning back on to the bed so they were laying down, and I did the same. Shawn gently placed her between the two of us, her small head leaning against Shawn's chest.

"I love you, baby girl." He told her, using his large hand as an advantage to moving her hair away.

"I love you, too, Daddy."

He chuckled to himself. "You're so beautiful, princess."

She smiled, and then, he looked up at me, smiling also. "Just like Mommy."
