"Is that all you got?!?" I screamed, coughing up blood a bit. More are coming...

Jeez, this sucks. I let a small grin loose and rush forward, ducking under one and stabbing him in the gut, but another is behind me and stabs me in the back, even exiting through my chest. I turn and slice him also, the quinque still inside me.

I have no time to pull it out. Instead I keep fighting, the sting from my wounds burning into my mind, until I feel numb, enough to keep going on.

More and more, I keep fighting.

Blood is covered everywhere in Nest. All the things that have happened here... the lounge, where Levin, me, and Kurona bonded and hung out most of the time.

The kitchen where we ate Levin' cooking, also the infirmary, where Nashiro woke up and almost took a bite out of Lev. There was so much memories. All of them are making me soft.

Gosh I'm such a sucker for those idiots.

I stumble on my feet, a bunch of bullets holes in me and quinques sticking out of me. I slowly get up, and push myself out of the back entrance, right in front of a large audience.

A line of lights all flashed on me, guns pointed. There was silence, the wind blew and the snow that was falling was pushed aside by it.

I stare into the crowd, and just stand there. The next sound I hear is a thousand rounds going off, all flying towards me. I couldn't feel the bullets, only a burning in my whole body.

I slowly drop to my knees, the snow beneath my feet becoming red. And I slowly slide onto the floor, face first into the snow. A cold feeling washed over me, was it the snow making me feel like this? Or was it the loss of blood?

Did the others have enough time to get out of there? Why am I thinking this, usually I'm thinking about myself all the time... I guess... I really do care about those idiots too much.

I hear faint footsteps around me, some doves talking and telling the others that they needed to clear the rest of the warehouses. I look up slowly and find that they're walking around me and heading to the warehouses.

I hear a suddenly rustle of panic through the soldiers.

"What the hell-?! Aaah!" I heard one scream.

There was gunfire, than I heard a pair of feet landing right next to me, and I was quickly scooped up. Who is...?

The bouncing of the ride was giving me a massive headache, but I didn't care. My body hurt more than my head. Soon the sirens were in the distance, and the person holding me settled down.

My vision clears a bit and I stare up at a face I haven't seen in awhile. "... Hey Lev... still my knight in shining armor, huh?" I joked, then coughed, sending blood out my throat and onto the snow covered pavement.

We were in the suburbs right now, in a small alleyway intersection, a single lamp post in the middle of the darkness was over us, illuminating everything around us.

Levin took his mask off, letting it drop to the ground. His hair was black, no longer having that blue tinge it had. His pupils were a red color, never changing back to their original color of sea green.

"You've changed a lot... since I last saw you." I said slowly, looking at him again, seeing all the changes. I smirk, "did you get taller?" I said, letting another joke out.

Levin helped me into a more comfortable position, letting me lean on him. He grabbed some towels from his bag and threw them on my wounds, pressing down on them to stop the bleeding, but it didn't help.
