It was 4am on a cold dark Friday in December and Alex was sitting in her room on tumblr, she had recently created a new blog that consisted of multiple fandoms.
Alex was 16 years old and lately she had bean spending a considerable amount of time using the internet as any teenager does but she'd started talking to another band obsessed teen her age and her name was Devon.
They'd bean sending messages to each other for about 2 weeks now and they knew almost everything about one another the only problem was that Alex lived in Australia and Devon lived on the other side of the world in the UK.
There were days when Alex just wanted a hug, but only from a specific person but she knew for a fact that it wasn't possible and it killed her inside, she would always talk about Devon to her friends at school and when she got home she'd be greeted by a message from "Devon😘" she smiled when she saw her phone light up and that familiar name show up on the screen and so they talked for hours about their favourite TV shows, their otps and just how big Brendon's forehead really is and she never got bored and they never ran out if things to say to each other.
