"What do you think of that girl?" My best friend Alex pointed at a pretty blonde as she walked by our table. She was definitely attractive but she wasn't my type. I'm more into brunettes than blondes. "She's okay I guess..." I said in a bored tone. "Not interested? Fine what about that Muslim chick right there?" He pointed to the girl sitting at the table across from us. She was too busy staring at some book in her hands to even notice we were looking at her.
But she did catch my eye. She was the first girl in our grade that never came up to me or flirted with me like all of the others. Whatever, I don't need her any way. "Do I even have to answer that?" I chuckled. I'm Adam freaking Mathews! I can have anything and anyone I want...
