Something More(Sequel to 'Friends?')

Chapter 3

Lila's Pov.

I was in the middle of watching reruns of Grey's Anatomy when Luke rushed into our bedroom holding a grocery bag in his hand with the name of our local pharmacy printed on it. I sat up in bed and Luke came over and jumped onto the bed before coming over to me and kissing all over my face. Causing myself to giggle slightly.

"Luke stop!"I laughed and he stopped and smiled a nervous smile at me.

"Wheres Evelyn?"I questioned seeing that my baby girl isn't anywhere in sight.

"Mum took her for the night, so we could chat."He smiled, and I furrowed my brows at him wanting to chat. What exactly does he want to chat about, that we can't talk about with Evelyn here?

"Okay what exactly is it that you want to 'chat' about?"I asked putting air quotes around the word chat. He smiled at me and kissed my lips gently before handing me the plastic bag.

I opened it and I got even more confused when I saw about 3 or 4 pregnancy tests in it. I gave Luke a look and he sighed before answering me.

"You know how earlier today you were asking when we could have another baby, well that may come sooner then you think."Luke mumbled while scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

"What do you mean?"I asked even more confused.

"Remember about a month or two ago when your brother took Evelyn for the night and we enjoyed it and took advantage of it, well I think the condom might have broke."Luke sighed and my eyes widened.

"So you think I could be pregnant?"I asked with a small smile and he nodded and my grin widened.

"Luke why didn't you tell me sooner?"I questioned and he shrugged.

"I didn't think much of it until you threw up randomly in the car, and then when I got to Mum's and told them you weren't feeling well they joked about me knocking you up again."He explained and I nodded.

"Would you be happy if we we're having another baby?"I asked slightly nervous of his response.

"Of course I would be happy, I'm just a little worried with Evelyn being so young and all."Luke shrugged and I nodded in agreement. It could be a little tougher with Evelyn around and being so young but, Luke and I could make it work.

"Baby would you be happy if we we're having another baby right now?"Luke asked and I immediately nodded my head causing a smile to spread across our faces.

"Of course, I was the one to ask when we could have another, hopefully it would be a boy this time."I grinned and Luke nodded with a smile.

"Lets not get ahead of ourselves go take the tests and we'll continue talking about this after. I really hope you're pregnant."Luke smiled and I leaned down to kiss him once again before stepping off the bed and heading to the bathroom.

"Me to."I smiled as I shut the bathroom door and quickly took the tests. I set them all in the sink and opened the door to be greeted by Luke already standing there. I smiled and let him walk in. He sat down on the edge of the tub directly across from the sink and I sat right next to him.

"I'm more nervous now then the first time, it just seems more nerve racking."Luke commented and I nodded as I rested my head against his shoulder.

"Its because we don't have any doubts if we want the baby or not or if we can do this. Its just different because now we want it to be positive."I grinned and Luke nodded and kissed my head.

"Do you want me to check the tests or you?"Luke asked.

"You can, I'm to nervous."I explained and he nodded and kissed my head before standing up and walking towards the sink.

After  a minute Luke turned around holding all four pregnancy tests in hand with a huge smile on his face. I looked at them and saw that all four of them had a pink + sign on them. I ran into Luke's arms causing him to drop the tests on the floor but we didn't really care right now. Luke wrapped his arms around my waist tightly, I wrapped my arms around his neck as he kissed me deeply. We pulled away after our lust filled kissed and rested our foreheads against each others.

"We're having a baby."Luke said with his wide grin never leaving his face.

"We're having another baby."I clarified with a huge grin.

"Baby when can we tell everyone the great news?"Luke asked as we were lying on our bed later that night. We both had our hands rested on my still flat stomach.

"We can tell them at Evelyn's first birthday."I suggested and Luke shook his head no.

"That's three months away, you'll be showing by then."Luke reasoned and I nodded in agreement.

"We could tell them at the barbecue my Mum's holding at the end of the month. It gives us time to go to the doctors for my first checkup to make sure everything is okay. Its only a week away."I smiled and Luke nodded with a grin.

"Okay, sounds great."Luke smiled as he kissed my head.

"I can't wait for this baby."I mumbled while resting against Luke's chest more.

"Me either Babe, the best thing is holding the baby for the first time. Remember when we first held Evelyn?"Luke asked, as if I could forget.

"How could I forget, you delivered her Luke. It was amazing that you were so calm."I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"I was actually freaking out on the inside. But I had to stay strong for you, I didn't want to scare you Darling. Even though I was scared I had to take charge and help you through that."Luke confessed and I grinned at him and pecked his lips.

"I love you Luke."I grinned as his smiled widened.

"I love you to Lila."He smiled and kissed my cheek.
