I sunk against the wall of my bedroom, my eyes burning with salty tears. I couldn't help it. My life was officially over. Hugging my knees, I let it out. Roaring sobs that no one seemed to hear. The joys of being home alone.
The more I cried, the more a feeling that I was being heard continued to loom over me. I tilted my head to the ceiling, wanting to die. A voice chanted somewhere deep in my head, " Your alone, Luna. Make this the end. It'll all be over." But yet, I felt I'd rather just let liquid sorrow poor from my eyes instead of finding a knife somewhere, so I just sat there, braced against the bedroom wall, sobbing.
Out of nowhere, I heard a soft voice. It was low and smoky and sexy as hell, and male."Are you okay?" I turned my head in the direction of the talking, and almost pissed myself with alarm. There, in my room, a few feet away, stood a tall, brown BEAR. Okay, it wasn't a real bear, but an animatronic bear, staring at me with icy blue eyes, rimed with an ocean blue around the iris. Absolutely gorgeous, and comforting.
Although I was secretly grateful someone was here, I couldn't stop the words that I screamed,"WHO ARE YOU?!?AND HOW THE FUCK DID YOU GET INTO MY ROOM?!?" He flinched, lowering his ears at my yelling.
"Please! Calm down! I-I can explain!" He yelped as I threw a pillow at him. If he wasn't so hot I would have probably killed him. But restrained, only because he was worthy of a good "daaauuummmmmnnn". He was muscular and had chocolate brown fur with a cream-ish markings on his muzzle and inner ears. Where did he look familiar from?
"ANSWER ME!! HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE?" I screeched at him, throwing another pillow.
"Calm the hell down and I might tell you!" He said in a whisper yell. So I stopped throwing things and sat on the edge of my bed, staring out the window, waiting for him to start talking
"For starters, what's your name," I said in my most monotone voice I could muster with the prickling anxiety that my parents would return with Jake and they'd find out I had a twenty something boy in my room.
"It's Freddy."
