Hiding in Plain Sight (Slowly Updating)

Turned Upside Down

       I send Dr Roberts another text thanking him when I look up and see Owen staring at me with that stern face that he thinks works on every one. I give him my smirk that pisses him off and put my phone down. 

      "Thank you for finally paying attention Sean, we were waiting on you before I let Luke explain what's going on."  Oh no, its serious he called me and Luke by our first names.  He may be the first one to lose it. 

     "Thanks Mr Stonyface I called this meeting because Mr Can't mind his own fucking business and wants to fuck with my head over there saw a light in the house across the street from him.  I then climbed up to the window and took a fucking picture.  Nathan do you have more alcohol or maybe something stronger that can erase what I saw.  I will send everyone the picture then I'm deleting it.  I don't want that reminder on my phone.  Its already etched in my brain as it is." 

    Everyone just looked at him with their jaws dropped.  This was not our Luke.  I began to wonder if someone body snatched him or possessed him or something along that lines.  I heard the ping of multiple phone alerting us to the text.  I was still watching Luke though as he I assumed deleted the picture with a tear running down his cheek as all hell started to break loose around me.

      "What the FUCKING HELL is this SHIT Luke how did you get a picture of my baby and why the hell is she like this?  This isn't a fucking joke is it? Please tell me it is, please, I'll make you chocolate every day if you just tell me its all one big joke and it's not real."  I know I'm dreaming now North is begging, pleading and looks close to tears.

     I look around to the rest of my brothers reactions.  Silas is cracking his knuckles and looks to be trying to determine how to get out of the house, but quiet other than that which scares me.  The quieter he gets the more unpredictable. 

    "Oy Luke you fucker how did you find her and get her to pose for this.  Epic joke man."  Gabe put his hand up for a five when he realized whatever the picture was it was NOT a joke.  His hand formed a fist that went flying toward Luke's face. 

    Victor had flames licking his fingers as he headed toward the front door.  "What fucking house was it Luke? The one across the road from Kota's right?"  He didnt wait for a response as  he tore the door opened to get flung back across the living room as he tries to exit.  Well, at least I know why Luke asked for the field around the house now.  Not who I thought would make a run for it but what do I know.  I walk over to make sure Victor is only unconscious.  As I leaned down to check I heard Kota mumbling nearby.  Why was he counting only to ten? I may need to schedule a mental evaluation for him soon. 
      
     Nathan glared at Kota like this was all his fault.  Wait I'm so lost as to why everyone is acting so irrationally.  Owen is just staring at his phone almost like he's trying to figure out how it works.  I really need to look at this picture.

    I swiped my screen after waking it up.  The little icon stared at me from the top of the screen.  I know I should look at the picture but if looking at the picture has caused the chaos if front of me I'm not sure if I wanted to.
I took a deep breath and touched the icon.  I looked, and looked.  "Luke how did you get a picture of the future Mrs Green and who's in the picture with her?"  So this is what caused the panic.  Something about the position of her body nagged at the back of my mind but I couldn't pinpoint what it was.

Owen Blackbourne's POV (because he refuses to allow me to call him just Owen yet)

      I stared at the picture Luke sent us.  How was she able to get here before us?  She must have flown while we were stuck driving.  I need to figure out how to diffuse this situation and fast.  Victor is currently unconscious on the living room floor.  Sean is just staring at his phone now.  Silas looks like he's about to plow through a wall to get out.  Luke is drunk and currently trying to avoid Gabe's attack.  Nathan is stalking Kota like a cat about ready to pounce as he counts I'm assuming the girls fingers or toes I assume since he hasn't gone over ten repeatedly.  North is huddled in the corner with his arms around his pulled up knees.  What has happened to my family everyone is acting so out of character its disarming.
