Chapter One-
Feathers Are Reminders That Angels Are Always Near
I stood still, astonished by what laid before my eyes.
It couldn't be. It's not even possible.
A sharp breath escaped my lips as I heard a heart beating. But no, not just any heart. My heart.
Panic rose in my chest.
'Angel, you're going crazy. This isn't real.'
But I knew all too well it was.
I began to quickly look around, taking note of my surroundings. It was my house. The one that I once called home. Before the accident that was.
My head began to spin.
"WHAT IS GOING ON, WHERE ARE YOU MASYN AND BRUICE!"
I called out as loud as I could, but there was no reply.
My eyes finally landed upon the old vintage mirror, the one I used to look in when I was alive, with Masyn.
I felt a feeling I hadn't felt in decades, ever since the accident. I felt cold,as the air creeped up my spine.
How could this be.
'Angel' a breathy voice whispered making me stand still. I knew that voice.
Turning around I expected to come face and face with a good friend of mine, Daryn. A reaper of the after life. The one who taught me everything and helped me to become one of the best Reapers.
But as I turned I came face to face with a blast of cold air, and he was no where in sight.
'You won't be able to see me Angel' the voice whispered, and I realized the voice was inside my head.
"What's going on" I thought hoping he'd hear the fear, the one emotion I never showed in the after life.
I could feel his pain. "Angel, I am so sorry. If I had a choice this wouldn't be."
My so called heart began to race, what was he refering to?
And that's when the dizziness strike my head and the images and voices flashed into my head.
And to my horror, it showed me everything I feared most.
I was living once again, only years later in a different world.
A place I would be forced to see those ones I loved to to them I would never be that girl they once knew.
