The rest of summer passed by quickly. Yugi had gotten all his academic hours in on time as he had hoped, and didn't have to worry about it anymore.

He woke up that morning with an eager smile on his face. It was his last year in highschool and possibly the first year he'd have with an actual friend.

He was so happy, he put on his best looking uniform, gathering all his belongings he would have wanted to bring so the dorm in a large suitcase.

"Alright... Another new beginning.. Perhaps a new friend..." He said to himself as he put his eyeliner on his eyes that morning, smiling once he was finished, "...hopefully, it's a new kid...I dunno how I'd be able to handle any of the kids who poked fun at me last year..."

"Yugi! Breakfast is ready!" Yugi heard his grandfather call to him from the kitchen as he finished getting ready for school.

"Coming!!" He called in return, rushing out of his room happily and grabbed his book sack off of his bed, slinging it around a chair in the kitchen.

He sat at the table where a plate of eggs and bacon, grandpa's special and Yugi's favorite, waited patiently for him, still as hot as when they first came off of the stove.

Yugi took a bite of his food, smiling when he tasted the goodness of the food in his mouth.

"Mmm...." He groaned slightly, smiling still.

"Is my Senior grandson enjoying his morning meal?" Yugi's grandfather smiled, sitting beside his grandson as he happily ate his eggs, followed close behind by the bacon that sat silently beside the food.

"He certainly is! I'm gonna miss staying in this place when I get my room and my partner for the year!" Yugi smiled, "I hope it's someone I'll like!"

"You'll still visit your old Grandfather, right, Yugi?" Yugi's grandfather chuckled and Ruffles his hair slightly.

Yugi nodded.

"I promise! Every weekend they're supposed to let us out into the city or to do whatever we want to, so I'll always take those opportunities to visit you back here!" Yugi smiled brightly, "I mean, I'm not making any promises that I won't get homesick, now!"

Yugi's grandfather laughed and Ruffles his hair, seeing that the time was 7:30, being when Yugi was supposed to be heading out to the school orientation for pairing and moving in for the school year.

"Yugi, I believe it is time you got going." Yugi's grandfather helped him take his things out to the bus stop, "I'll be seeing you this weekend then!"

Yugi hugged him one more time before shutting the door behind him, waiting at the bus stop at his grandfather sadly watched him from inside his game shop.

"It seems like just yesterday you were in kindergarten, reading your first books and now, you're in your Senior Year, off to University soon..." Yugi's grandfather saw Yugi get into the bus and load his things as the bus drove up and picked him up along with other students that we're all inside, "Where do the times go?"

Yugi's grandfather watched the bus go as his memories of Yugi's childhood back at the game shop. He thought back to when Yugi was a baby, to when he was a young child, then a teen first entering junior high school, into a Senior who knew all the tricks and gimmicks to getting past all his distractions.

He made his grandfather proud of him.

And he could never be any prouder.

Yugi got off at the bus stop not long after leaving the game shop along the bus's route to pick up all the students for Orientation Day at school. Every student lined up outside the bus as the bags stored underneath where they sat on the bus on the way to school.
