Christmas

Christmas has always been your favorite time of year. Your favorite part was always the decorations. You loved hanging them up. Your boyfriend, not so much. This being your guys first Christmas living together, you decided to put the decorations up yourself while he played his video games. You were putting tinsel on the tree when Evan walked into the living room.

" Babe.. what are you doing?" He asked holding back a laugh. You had tinsel in your hair and all over your black tank top.

" Decorating a tree." You said in a 'isn't it obvious?' tone. He folded his arms and smiled at you. You turned around to finish wrapping the tinsel around the tree, but you couldn't reach. You tried to jump but that only made more tinsel fall on you. You were about to give up when all of a sudden Evan walked up from behind you and wrapped one of his arms around your waist and grabbed the tinsel out of your hand with his other arm. He easily wrapped the rest of it around the tree.

" You looked like you needed some help." He smiled and kissed the top of your head. You rolled your eyes. He left the living room and returned minutes later with two cups of hot chocolate. He set them both down on the coffee table and sat down. You eyed him curiously, not understanding what he was doing.

" Movie night. But we're watching Rudolf first." Your eyes lit up with excitement as you quickly put the movie into the Xbox. You sat next to Evan and instantly cuddled up beside him. He covered you guys with a blanket and put his arm around you, pulling you closer.

" Merry Christmas ( Y/N)." He said, kissing the top of your head. You smiled.

" Merry Christmas."
