PROLOGUE
"What's this?" Andy asked while looking at the brown envelop handed to her.
"Read it yourself." Sabi ng lalaking nasa kanyang harapan. His eyes is void of any emotion while looking at her.
She opened the envelop and was confuse for a moment as she read the content of the paper she was holding.
"A marriage certificate?"
Tumango ito. "I want you to marry me." Walang kurap na turan nito sa kanya.
"Why?"
"You don't need to know my reason. But I know you needed the money...Ibibigay ko sayo ang perang kailangan mo kapalit ng pagpapakasal sa akin. Simple as that, Andy"
She was dumbfounded for a moment. But he is right. She needed the money as soon as possible. But, is she willing to give up her life for this marriage because of money? At the back of her mind she knew what is her answer.
"I'll give you a week to decide, Andy. Let's call it a day." Tumayo na ito.
"Wait." Pigil niya rito. "Are we going to divorce?"
"No. This marriage is for a lifetime. Think about it. Goodbye, Andy."
She nodded her head. "Goodbye, Yuuto."
