Erik Altberg's voice fills up the entire room with the magical chant over and over. The volume of the speaker hits the MAX. Head bangs. That's all what Kyo can do as the chant goes over and over. Keep banging the head, as the chant goes. Joe and Trance, his two best homies also join the groove. Three notebooks lay on the table of the main room. All shown on the screen are the wallpapers of three idols whom each of them worships. Sven, Magina, and Lina Inverse. Representing three essentials Strength, Agility and Intelligence, the combo of these three are going to combine their power to challenge a selfproclaimed noob who boasts of winning using the delinquent duo, Squee and Spleen.

Kyo's phone rang in-sync with the surrounding. Kyo keeps banging his head without even responding to the call. On the other side of the phone, Christine is blushing while waiting for her darling to pick up the call. Apparently, a week ago, Christine had promised to Kyo that they will meet for a date at a nearby pub. Despite Christine's gothic look, she is a person who easily blushes when it comes to a guy whom she is in a relationship with. Gothic was never her passion before, but Kyo, being a Goth addict transforms herself from an average teenage girl to a Goth.
Out of hundreds of calls, the number of calls answered can be counted by fingers. Despite knowing her darling's passion to that battlefield, she never complains on lots of unanswered calls. She knows, Kyo's in his virtual battlefield, and as his sweetheart, must stay back and evade from being attacked by the enemy. Which warrior wants to see his sweetheart get pwned on the battlefield? Christine left her phone on the make-up desk, and continues applying her mascara.
The notebooks on Kyo's main room have been added with an extra participant. Fat Joe and Slim Trance shows a gloomy glare at that extra participant. A teenage guy, wearing black framed spectacles, wearing a complete school uniform with shirt tucked inside the pants, looks at the two guys with no expression, except showing his noticeable bunny teeth. Kyo sets up the game and names himself as "N00BS D0WN". Joe and Trance sticks to their pseudonyms "Grinder" and "Destroyer".
On the screen the three enters the Sentinel while a "3.142" pseudonym entered as Scourge. It seems the noob is very good in mathematics and hopefully, he can count the best combination to make a build and not buying them as separate junks. As known, the three chose their idols, while the noob took out his trump card.
"What's happening?" grunt the Goblin Techies.
The delinquent duo shouldn't be looked down easily. The hardest road to go to the base would be going through their booby traps and suicide attacks. That also goes for the easiest road. The battle begins when a siren blows coming out from nowhere on the battlefield. Kyo began to take the middle path, expected to have the shortest distance, and popular route for the opponent to farm their gold. As Kyo nearly reach the center, his phone rang again. It was Christine.
"Hello, sweetheart. I'm in the middle of the battlefield now. Bye."
"Listen, Kyo darling. Don't forget our date tonight at Palazzo Pub. I don't want you to be late."
There was no reply. Kyo hanged up the call before she even finished with a sentence. Christine pats her head, and moved her spread fingers through her long black hair. Her head's getting dizzy. She was afraid if Kyo might be annoyed with her act of messing with his matters on the battlefield. She had promised to wait until Kyo is done with his battle and hang out with her at the paradise.
Twelve dates, and twelve times Kyo just have a short talk with her. Sometimes, no words come out at all. Still, Kyo's bear hugs keep Christine being attached to him. Not only that, Christine is suffering from insomnia. She always walks in a less energetic manner, and she doesn't even need an eyeshadow to color up her eyebags. She never feel to dream on her future life with Kyo. She never mind about Kyo's frequent ignorance to her, but she always wants to see him happy and victorious on his battlefield.
"All I ever wanted was to see you smiling."
Christine walked to the front door, putting her sneakers on, and left her house, to have a fresh air outside. Christine lives in the middle of the busy town, swarmed with lots of vehicles passing through the roads at a speed of a ricochet. Once in a while, she loves to have a walk like this to ease up her mind. She can just hang out with the other fellow Goths, but she hates to be in a group. Solitude is always her path, with Kyo as her exception.
An hour on the battlefield. Joe and Trance have to wait for exactly a hundred seconds for their idols to be respawned. Kyo's Lina didn't manage to hold on her HP and walks back to the Brink of Recovery. However, along the way, Kyo was finally pwned for the first time. All thanks to a hidden bomb planted near to one of the noob's towers.
"3.142 pwned N00BS D0WN for 490 gold!"
All of the Sentinel towers are destroyed, while the noob watches the Tree of Life being devoured by his creeps. The time is not enough compared to the speed of the tree being devoured alive. The trio lost. It was just one more second for all of the three idols to revive. The noob took his notebook, and left the scene, leaving a note stating, "Pathetic losers."
Kyo lay back on the sofa and covers his face, ashamed of their defeat. Never been in the history of his DotA career ended up losing to a noob. He is known as the "Noob-Killer" as he defeats the players who depend on walkthroughs to create their self-proclaimed "ultimate killer strategy". Perhaps, the noob had learned so much that he combines all the techniques from great players around the globe.
Suddenly, Joe received a call. It was from his mom who works at the hospital. Christine had been in a coma after being hit by a car, while she was crossing a busy road. Kyo was shocked to hear the news. If he would have been trying to be close to Christine before this, Kyo might have brought her to somewhere else than the busy traffic, and not letting her alone. Kyo had ever being silent to Christine all this time, but it was all too late. Kyo lost his pride, he also lost his sweetheart.
"Kyo got pwned again, now he got a Double Pwned".
