Chapter 1

A/N Hey guys this is my 1st fanfiction so it might be crappy but just please read it! This is a lunar chronicles fan fiction. If you know me you know I'm obsessed with tcl. I was making a divergent fanfic but I didn't like it so I stopped. all of the charecters are Marissa Meyer's. I know I've been talking a lot so on with the story!
CINDER POV
Beep! Beep! Beep!
"Ugh!", I groan as I press the snooze button. Today is my first day at my new school Lunaria High(LH). I really don't want to go. I've never really been the popular type and I don't think I'll have any friends this time either.
"Cinder come on! Were going to be late for school. You don't want to be late on your first day now don't you?", my little sister Peony says. Peony also goes to LH. She is a sophomore this year and I'm a senior.
"What time is it?", I ask.
"Its 8:35', she answers.
"8:35! Shoot! school starts at 9:00!". I jump out of bed, get ready, and throw on a white T-shirt, my green army jacket, cargo pants, and my brown combat boots. I put my hair into a ponytail and rush out the door.
"You are wearing THAT?!?!?", Peony shreaks.
"Yeah, so?", I say confused
"Cinder you have to wear something cute like this". She is wearing a 3/4 sleeve skater dress with rose print, knee length pink socks, and black booties.She LOVES fashion.
"Whatever", I say.
"Don't you want Kai to notice you?", she asks. Kai is the hottest and most popular guy at LH. All the girls - including Peony - are in love with him.
"No not really", I say.
"OK suit yourself"
"Come on", I say, getting into my car. Its not really mine it's our older sister Pearl's car. Pearl is in college and she just got a new car so I get her old car. Pearl gets everything she wants and I get all her old, worn down stuff.

On the way to school Peony kept talking about all the people at school. Kai is the most popular guy at school. Levana is the most popular girl at school and the "queen bee". Skylar and Sybil are her "girls". Skylar used to be Peony's friend but she changed. Scarlet, Cress and Iko are Peony's squad. Iko, Peony, and I have been friends since I could remember. Thorne is the school "bad boy". I don't listen for the rest because she is talking all about Kai.

When we get there I step out of the car and BAM! I crash right I into someone. She is wearing a pink crop top, a pink skirt that is WAY too short, a pink statement necklace, and high heeled stiletoes and guess what color they are. Pink! Damn this girl loves pink!
"Ugh watch where your going do you know who I am!" she screeched. Damn could she be any ruder!
"Oh sorry I d-didnt mean to bump into you " I stammered.
"I am Levana Blackburn and I rule this school, right girls" she asks two girls one had blonde curls and the other had wavy black hair. They both wore the same outfit as Levana but the blond one wore a peach colored version and the black haired one wore a magenta version. They both nodded at Levana.
"Like yeah, she rules the school,right Sybil? ", the blond one said twirling her hair. If the other girl is Sybil then she just be Skylar.
"Like totally!", Sybil says.
"Yeah so like watch where your going. I can tell your new because I would remember seeing such an ugly face not to mention a fashion disgrace.So let me tell you something stay away from Kai he's mine!" Levana said.
"Jeez I don't even know who he is", I said.
"Well stay away from him!", she said as she sashayed away with Skylar and Sybil following directly behind her.
"OMS! You just stood up to Levana!", Peony screamed.
"Um no I didn't I just bumped into her", I say.
"Yeah exactly nobody even gets near her except her girls. Everybody is scared of her. One time she are a boy commit suicide but she didn't get in trouble because her mom and dad are government people or something", Peony said. Wait is Levana going to make me die!?
"No that's not going to happen", an unfamiliar male voice said. I turned around and saw a very handsome guy. He had jet black hair, brown eyes, and fairisj skin. He had some muscle but not that much but he was still muscular. He wore a mustard yellow T-shirt with a red leathermans jacket with a k on it, blue jeans, and red sneakers. Damn he was cute! Wait what!? Cinder you just met him and you don't even know his name! You don't like him!
"Oh did I say that out loud?", I said. ( a/n not the discription part the being scared of levana part) Great now this guy must think I'm a weak scardycat.
"No it's perfectly normal to be scared", he said again.
"OK and you are?", I asked
"Oh sorry you must be new, I'm Kai". Oh this must be Kai. He is cute. Wait why is the popular guy in school talking to me?
" well I got to get going, have a great 1st day of school", he said while walking away.
"OMS! Kai just talked to you he never talks to any girls", Peony screeched.
"OK 1. He only talked to me because I was scared and 2. Your going to burst my eardrums!", I said.
"But you are a cyborg, you don't have eardrums",Peony says pretending to be confused.
"You know what I mean, anyways I got to go to the main office to get my locker and schedule", I say.
"OK see ya later C-C",she says
"I told you to never call me that!", I scream.
"Kk see ya cinder!",
" see ya", I say back.
I find a map of the school and go to the main office. I walk up to the lady at the table.
"Hi I'm new", I say
"Name", she says
"Cinder Linh"
"OK here's you locker number and schedule. Here are some papers you parents need to sign",. Great Adri not going to like that.
"OK thanks"I say
"No problem honey", she says
I have locker number 56 and my schedule is:
1st period- Mrs.Benoit- history
2nd period -Ms.Nainsi- math
3rd period- Mr. Darnell- science
Lunch break
4th period - Mr. Jael - gym
5th period - Mr.Aimery- art
6th period - Mrs. Beniot/Mr. Darnell- music
7th period - free period
OK now I have to find my locker. I walk up to a girl with fiery red curls , brown eyes, and lots of freckles. She is wearing a black veil brides muscle tee with a black bandeau underneath, high waisted light wash shorts, a maroon scarf, and black combat boots.
"Um excuse me do you know where locker 56 is", I ask.
"Yeah that's right between mine and Cress's come on I'll show you! I'm Scarlet by the way" Scarlet said with a a slight French accent (a/n that's where my nickname comes from)
"OK, I'm Cinder" I say following her. All the lockers were a pattern one red locker then a yellow locker then another red, then yellow, red, then yellow and I think you get the idea.
"OK here we are locker 56",Scarlet said.
"Ok thanks so much", I said
" no prob", she said
"I got to get going i have to help my grandmother get ready for her class she teacheshistory and music", she says
"Oh I have history 1st period", i say
"oh me too!",she says
"Great see you 1st period", I say
"Yeah see ya", she says walking away
She seemed nice I think to myself maybe I might have a friend thats not Peony or Iko. Oh who am I kidding nobody wants to be friends with me I think while heading to the main office to ask for 1st day of school advice.

A/N all the people in this chapter came to school 30minutes early. Sorry I forgot to add that
