Chapter 16

Ryland's POV

I woke up abruptly from a nightmare and looked around. Neither PJ nor SJ were next to us. They must've gone back to their rooms. Oh well

I went to the bathroom groping around and came back to the huddle and shut my eyes

I felt a cold wind blow past me and then heard some soft growling

I kept my eyes shut. Not wanting to see what was happening just in case, I don't want yet another nightmare

Soon the growling stopped and I opened my eyes and saw PJ and SJ standing before me, panting heavily

Me: Are you guys okay? What happened?

SJ: Oh well, we went out for a little night time run and just got back

PJ: Yeah, when we get really tired, unlike others who wheeze, we well, not really growl but it sounds like growling

I mumbled "ok" softly followed by a "goodnight". I stayed awake a for a short while knowing that the pair were lying. But I soon gave up as exhaustion overcame me and I immediately dropped off into a deep slumber
