Annabeths pov

After a very noisy train ride we finally reached the school! Now we are waiting with the other first years to get sorted, whatever that means.
" i heard that you have to fight a montain troll, only with a wand!" Said a scared first year
" did you hear that, they said you have to fight a troll, with only our wands!" Wispered Percy in my ear
I rolled my eyes, the students had not read the Hogwarts: A History
"'No you dont, you have to put a hat on your head and it says what house you are in " i whispered back
I saw percy tell the others and release  spred on their faces
Then a strict looking lady came out of the door
" hello students, i am Mrs Macgonnagal ( i dont know how to spell her name)  and now is the time for your storting,"
And she lead us through the door. I gasped, the hall was amazing! Not as amazing as olympus of couse, but for a mortal building it was amazing. Magical candles hung from the ceiling and the ceiling was full stars.
" all you do is put that hat on your head and wait for it to call your name" said mrs macgonagall
" Green John"
A shy looking boy walked up to the stage and put on the hat
" HUFFLEPUFF" the hat shouted
The hat shouted wow
Soon the teacher said my name
" Chase Annabeth"
I walked up to the hat and put it on my head
Wow, very brave and clever, you could be easly Griffindor or Ravenclaw
Ummm, your mind has nearly never failed you so...
" RAVENCLAW"
I walked over to a cheering table with a banner with a bird on it and sat down ready to watch the rest of the sorting

Percy pov
" Di Angelo, Nico" said the mean looking teacher
Nico walked over to the hat and put it on his head
" SLYTHERIN" the hat shouted
Poor nico, in the house for mean people
Soon it was my turn, at least their was one of my friends in each house

As i walked on stage, there were oohs from the girls, why was that? When i got about three meters from the hat it screemed
" GRIFFINDOR, HOW DID YOU DO THAT???"
I walked over to the clapping table and sat next to jason
" everyone was surprised you got sorted so quick" said jason
" oh"
