I started sweating and my whole body was shaking uncontrollably. I couldn't comprehend what was happening. I tried to calm myself by saying my mom just went to the store and I needed to walk to school. So I went outside and walked down the road with endless trees on both sides. Something still wasn't right. I heard an eerie noise behind me that frighten me so bad that I froze. It was an odd noise I've never heard before, it was super high-pitched and very strange, like trees blowing mixed with a cat clawing a chalkboard. When I was finally able to turn around, I looked behind me, but nothing was there once a again. I could almost hear my heart beating. Then suddenly the hairs on my back stood up. I couldn't take it anymore. I ran as fast as I could through the woods dodging every tree and root. Running through the woods was a short cut to the school. When I was finally at the school I ran to the door with panic and tried opening it, but it wouldn't budge. I looked around and the lights were all off. I knew there was school they never cancelled it. I started banging on the door and yelling for help. No one answered. I fell to the ground and leaned against the door. I felt like crying, but I couldn't. I looked up and what I saw made my jaw drop. Could that really be what I was thinking it could be?
