OHSHC: A Pattern Forms. (Kaoru X Reader!OC)

A not-so Relaxing Beach Trip.

What I thought was meant to be a trip to the beach with a few friends, turned out to be a Host Club meeting with all the club guests.

I found myself sitting beside Haruhi, in a baggy t-shirt and a pair of black shorts. I put my sunglasses on and my earbuds in, to try and tune it out. I just wanted to go have a swim, but now I couldn't even get in the water, without being found out by the girls.

Kaoru and Hikaru had their usual taboo act on, which I wasn't watching.

It was starting to get too hot for my liking, so I disappeared into the bathroom. I had my bag with me, which made my life easier. I pulled out my little make up bag and lightly applied some foundation, a touch of pale pink lipstick, some winged black eyeliner and some light mascara, before I removed the baggy T-shirt and black shorts. I gave my hair a quick ruffled, so that it looked like a pixie cut, then I made my way back out, with my bag. I put it under the umbrella by Haruhi and went to join the Twins, in a game of Volleyball.

They were one person short, so I thought it would be a bit of fun. At least I got to have a bit of a laugh with them. I was on a team with Hikaru, which was interesting. He normally didn't talk to me, but he made a change to that.

"Well done." He said, smiling at me. It was the first time I'd ever seen him be so nice.

"A-ah, thanks Hikaru." I returned the smile. "You did really well too. It was so fun. Thanks for letting me join."

He waved off my compliment. "Well, we did need another player. Besides, it was actually kind fun." With that, he wandered off to go talk to Haruhi.

I watched him leave, smiling a little, before I started walking along the beach, in the shallow water. I was kind of looking for shells, as Honey had asked.

"Hey! Wait up!" I heard someone call, which made me turn around. I didn't really know why anyone was running after me, but it was a nice surprise. "Hey Ren." Kaoru said, smiling at me. "That was a great game today." h was complimenting me again. He was so cute and sweet.

"Thanks. It /was/ pretty fun." I said, with a smile. I don't know why, but whenever I was around him, he always seemed to blush and my stomach always seemed to flip. It was kind of weird. I'd never had this happen before.

We walked along the beach in silence for a little while, before we came to a set of flat rocks, where we sat down and admired the setting sun. It was so beautiful and there were so many colours. I hadn't seen anything so beautiful. Back in England, it mostly rained.

After a few minutes, I felt a warm hand on mine and looked over to notice that it was Kaoru's. He was blushing a little, but it was cute. I flashed him a smile and looked back out at the ocean.

We were completely oblivious to the incident that was taking place down the other end of the beach. It was whilst we were here, that I really noticed just how handsome he was.

When the sun finally went down, we made our way up to Kyouya's families beach house, hand in hand. Kaoru opened the door for me and everything, which was amazingly sweet.

I disappeared upstairs, to my allocated room, and changed into a cute, white maxidress. I returned to the dining room and took seat, looking at the mass amounts of freshly cooked crab that we were eating. It looked amazing.

I was sitting slightly away from everyone else, which I didn't really mind. It was nice to just relax and enjoy the fresh food, though I couldn't really eat much of it.

Dinner ended when Tamaki stormed out and Haruhi ran down the hallway to throw up.

I frowned a little and made my way to my room, where I sat on the seat by the window. I felt weird and I didn't understand it.

There was a gentle knock at the door, which interrupted my train of thought. "Come in." I called, softly, waiting to see who would emerge from the other side.

It was.... Kaoru and Hikaru. "Uh, hey? You guys okay?" I asked, more than a little confused as to why they were both here.

"We were wondering if we could crash in here... Turns out, Kyouya doesn't quite have enough rooms and it was you, or Tamaki and well.... The boss is a bit pissed off right now, so..." Hikaru explained, as he sat on the bed.

Well, it was a massive king size, so I didn't really mind. "That's fine." I said, finally moving to get into my pajamas. "I'll be right back."

I slipped into the bathroom and shut the door behind me, before I removed the dress and slipped into my pair of pale blue silk pajama shorts and singlet. I washed off all of my make up and brushed my teeth, removed my contacts, and finally emerged again. The two boys were still up, which I didn't mind, though they were now down to their boxers.

I blushed and made my way over to the bed, climbing into the side closest to the window. There was a thunderstorm outside, which put me at ease. I had always found them so peaceful. I guess that was all part of growing up in England, though.

A few minutes later, the two boys slipped into the massive bed as well, with Kaoru in the middle.

I simply turned off my lamp and closed my eyes, allowing myself to fall asleep to the sound of thunder and the quiet whispering of the two boys.
