There's nothing worse than being the new kid at a school.... Oh wait, yes there is. There's nothing worse than it being your first day and you already owe pretty boys money, so you are working for them.
This is what had happened to me so far, today.
Twenty minutes ago, I had accidentally broken a table and a china set. Now here I was, entertaining young ladies, by drinking tea and eating with them. Doesn't sound that weird, right? Wrong. I'm a woman, who was believed to be a dude, so now I'm working as one.
I had no idea what I was meant to do. I had a group of three young women sitting with me, all of whom were fascinated by me, constantly asking questions and flirting. I felt so out of place. I couldn't do this....
"You're new, aren't you? I haven't seen you before." One of the ladies said, admiring me.
"You're so handsome!" Squealed another.
"You're my new favourite!" Squealed the third.
Eugh. How could they be so fascinated by me? I was amazed that they even wanted to talk to me, let alone take this much interest in me.
"So, why did you move here?" The second girl asked.
"Well, uh.... My father inherited the family company and well.... We had to move to Japan to run it.... He and my older brother are running it, whilst my sister and I are here, studying." I shrugged a little. It wasn't much to tell. "It was kind of hard, moving here... I had so many friends in England, but I have none here. The first time I came to Japan, was for my Grandmothers funeral two weeks ago and I found out we were staying." I frowned a little and shook my head, not wanting to relive the memories.
"We'll be your friends, Ren." All three of the girls chimed in, which made me smile a little more. Well, at least these girls were nice, even if they were a little air-headed.
The party was slowly dragging on and I found myself on break, wondering where my things were. I looked around and noticed the girl who had tormented me earlier. Had she done it? She was looking at me, with a nasty smirk after all.
I looked out the window and found my bag, stuck up a tree, which was a pain in the ass. "Dammit." I muttered to myself, exiting the room.
I made my way to the tree and started trying to climb it, which didn't work. Climbing trees was something I failed at miserably. Twenty minutes passed and I heard someone approaching.
"The boss is mad that you walked out, ya know." It was Kaoru and he didn't sound very mad, which helped. "I saw your bag up the tree. What happened?" He sounded sad, as he climbed up the tree and retrieved it, before jumping back down and handing it over.
"I... I don't know. It just ended up, up here." I sighed and shrugged, but slung it over my shoulder and walked back to the music room, side by side with Kaoru.
When I returned, that same girl had requested me. I sat down at her table, more than a little confused. "Hi there." I said, wondering why she asked for me.
"You don't belong here." she hissed at me, looking at her nails. "Your family may belong, but you certainly don't." With that, she poured her rather cold tea on me and left, vowing to never return.
Covered in tea and with the room now empty, I sat there and sighed. Kyouya came over and handed me a bag. "Go put this on. Its dry." He then turned and went to see what Haruhi was doing. Man, my day had sucked so far.
I accepted the bag and disappeared into the changing room. My casual clothes were bloody, my uniform wet, this one tea covered. Now I had to change again. My day just couldn't get any worse, could it?
I removed my drenched uniform and dried myself off, which left me in my bra and underwear. I was just pulling the dress out of the bag, when Kaoru stuck his head in and blushed. He removed his head and laughed awkwardly. "We have another one." He mumbled, awkwardly.
Another one? Did he mean that there was another person in the host club, who was also a girl? I shook my head and returned my focus to getting changed. I quickly pulled the dress on and stepped out of the changing room, to see the boys in complete shock, with Haruhi just smirking.
"I knew it." She said.
