OHSHC: A Pattern Forms. (Kaoru X Reader!OC)

In Which I was Thrown into a Bikini.

Finally, it was the weekend. I no longer had to worry about pleasing ladies at the host club meetings. Today was the host clubs annual trip to the pool, which I found extremely exciting.

Kyouya's family limo had arrived at my front door, to pick me up, at 9am. Talk about an early start. I didn't even know where we were actually going and now I had no way of leaving early, as we were all riding in the one car.

When we arrived, it was nothing like I had expected. This was no simple pool; This was a massive waterpark, owned by the Ootori group. I should ave known that we wouldn't have been going to any normal pool. I didn't even have a chance to find a bathing suit either, which I found extremely annoying.

It was when we arrived at the changing rooms, that things became even more awkward, The twins had arranged for all of their mothers swimsuit collection to be up for a wear, between Haruhi and I. The boys had planned this, I swear.

Both Haruhi and I were shoved into the room, with twin maids, who I could only presume worked for the Hitachiin family.

The two maids fussed and doted over Haruhi and I, which confused me a little. I wasn't expecting this at all. Haruhi was forced into several different swimsuits, which distressed her. She eventually left wearing a pink one piece, which she wasn't exactly impressed about.

I was looking through the different bathing suits, trying to decide which one I wanted to wear for the day, when the maids approached me.

"The Masters have requested you wear this." One said, whilst the other held up a skimpy, black bikini. It was kind cute, in a way and I knew that I couldn't refuse. They also offered me a black mesh kimono/sun cover, which I accepted.

I stepped into a stall and changed into the suit. I looked in the mirror and smiled awkwardly. It actually looked quite nice on me. I pulled the cover on, along with my black ray ban sunglasses and stepped out. "Is this okay?" I asked the maids.

They clapped their hands together and nodded several times. "Perfect!" They squealed in unison, shoving me out of the change rooms, and straight into Kaoru and Hikaru.

"I'm so sorry." I quickly said, feeling terrible that I had been shoved into them. Hikaru simply waved it off, completely uninterested, but Kaoru was left staring.

"You... You look amazing." Kaoru said, trying to tear his eyes away. He had been the one to pick the suit, but he hadn't been expecting it to look so good. "Wow..."

What snapped him out of his daze, was the rest of the boys yelling out to him. "Come on Kaoru. We're going swimming!" They all called, which made him rub the back of his nect and hold his hand out to me.

I took it, with a shy smile, and walked with him to the rest of the boys. Haruhi was now in a yellow hoodie, which was slightly weird, but I guessed that Tamaki was behind it.

Honey and Mori were already in the pool, Tamaki was arguing with Hikaru and Kyouya was taking notes. I noticed that Haruhi was sitting under the shade, drinking lemonade, which I understood. I gave her a smile, then walked over to the edge of the pool.

I took a seat and stuck my feet in the water, enjoying how refreshing it was. Honey was calling to Haruhi and I to join him, but Haruhi declined.

"Maybe later, Honey." I said, smiling at him. He nodded and went back to playing around, which made me smile.

What I wasn't expecting, was someone to dive in next to me. I avoided the splash and then looked at who it was. It had been Kaoru. He had just surfaced and was smiling at me. "Come on, Ren. Come join me." he called, swimming over to me.

I laughed at him and removed my sunglasses and the kimono, just in time for him to pull me in with him. "Hey." I squeaked, when I surfaced. I splashed some water at him and laughed. "That wasn't very nice, Kaoru..." I joked, to which he gave me a small smile.

"Heh, sorry." He apologised, rubbing the back of his neck again. What was with that? He was always so confident with everything else. Why was he now suddenly so awkward? I felt so confused.

With a shake of my head, I started swimming around with him. It was nice to be able to relax and let my hair down again. I hadn't had this chance since I moved here. Everyone just expected me to be so serious and proper, which annoyed me.

Soon enough, I climbed out and went to get a drink. It didn't take long to dry off, so I pulled the mesh kimono back on and slipped my sunglasses on as well. I took a seat beside Haruhi and gave her a smile.

"Not gonna swim?" I asked her.

She shook her head. "Nah. I'm not really interested." She answered, with a slight frown.

Everything was going so well, but I knew it wouldn't last. With this group, something was bound to go wrong. Sure enough, it was signalled with a scream from Honey, as he was sucked into the pool.

"Honey!" Tamaki shouted. He couldn't believe that that had just happened.

Kyouya frowned a little and led us over to a map of the park. "We're here." He pointed to our position on the map. "Honey would have been taken here." He pointed to another position. "So, to find him, we need to get there. The problem is, a lot of this park is still undeveloped and dangerous." He frowned and we all started to make our way there, with a flew blips along the way.

In the end, Kyouya called his family's police force, to let them know that Honey was missing, and Mori and Haruhi had gone looking for him.

We heard a few screams and the sound of Honey, then a fight, as we made our way over to them. I looked at the scene and sighed. Well, at least we had found Honey. The bad part was, that they had mistaken Mori for a strange figure that had kidnapped him, and Haruhi for Honey.

At least Honey had sorted it out for himself, which made things a fair bit easier for us.

Kaoru and Hikaru laughed in unison and, as a huge group, we all started to make our way back to the entrance, as the sun was setting.

Well, today had certainly been fun.

"We should go to the beach next." Haruhi said, which made most of the boys shake their heads.

I just smiled and nodded. "I agree, Haru-chan."
