Missing You (Sequel to In Between)

Chapter Two

Chris's POV
We got to my house and I helped rosie with her suitcase, she's really awesome I feel like we're going to be really good friends. I grabbed my keys and opened the door and walked inside. So let me tell you about me and where I live I'm Chris Ovani I'm 19 my parents kicked me out once they found out I was gay so I moved here with my boyfriend but we broke up and so I cleaned the place up and bought a new place so your probably thinking 'woah you have a lot of money' I do but because I've saved so much money I actually have been saving up since I was 12 so that's how I have money to survive plus now I have my job so I'm good. I love music, going to concerts and skateboarding it's my favorite hobby I have blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, I'm 5'8. I live in a quiet neighborhood in San Diego my home is small it's one floor, the walls are a light shade of green I have wooden floor, my sofa's are grey, I have some posters on my walls along with pictures and quotes I think that's all you need to know about me that's the basics my personal life is a bit too much at the moment but later you'll find more things about me.
"Your house is so pretty." Rosie said.
"Thank You, I try" I replied with a smile.
"Well you did a good job"
"Thanks, anyway your going to stay in the last room it's on your right."
"Okay awesome thank you so much chris, your the only person besides the manager whose been nice too me well also the people at the hotel but you get what I'm saying right?"
"Yeah, well make yourself at home" I said smiling.
"Thanks, I'm gonna put the suitcase in my room is that okay?"
"Yeah totally don't have to ask just go" she went to her room and I smiled and went to get some food ready for us. I went into the kitchen and looked into the fridge to see what I had I didn't have much so I figured I'd make us a sandwich because I hate eating out I only do it if it's necessary but if it's not then I settle for what I have here until I go grocery shopping. I grabbed some tomatoes, lettuce cheese and mayonnaise and toasted the bread then I waited for the bread to toast so I could put the toppings on while I waited I grabbed a plate and got ready to make our food. After I was done I called rosie and set the plates on the table. She came out and yawned.
"What's up chris?" She asked.
"I made sandwiches, you hungry or no?"
"Mhmm a bit yeah."
"Well dig in I hope you like it." She smiled at me and sat down.
"Thanks chris."
"No problem rosie" we ate our food in silence. When we were done she stood up and got us both cups of water.
"Thanks rosie."
Your welcome" she sat back down and had a sad look on her face I felt the need to ask her what was wrong because well I really feel like this is the start of a beautiful friendship.
"Is something wrong? You look sad."
"Just today made me sad that's it."
"You sure?"
"Mhmm" I nodded and decided to let her be if she wants to tell me later she can I'll always be here to listen so I chose to tell her that.
"If you need someone to talk too I'm always here to listen"
"Thanks chris same goes to you, well I'm going to lay down for a bit alright?"
"Yeah, if I go out I'll leave you a note or something feel free to sleep."
"Okay sounds good." She smiled got up and left. I picked up after us and then I chose to watch some television. I don't really have friends here so I don't really go out with anybody, if I ever go out (which I do) it's usually alone I usually go to a Mexican restaurant, the mall, or Starbucks. I'm usually that guy sitting alone blasting some good music, I sighed and scrolled through the channels of the TV I know right I have such an exciting life.

So this chapter is short. I basically just wanted to just introduce chris to the story as he is going to be a huge part of what's going to happen later in on in the story. I'm sorry if this story gets a bit boring, right now it's going to be like that but soon it will get more exciting I promise!
