"I'm coming!" I shout back down to my grandma, mom, and 'dad'. I slowly make my way down the tree feeling my heart pounding more and more. What will he think? That I'm too shy to actually say hello? I can't let that be how he sees me. I make a thud when I reach the bottom and turn around. Immediately my mom runs to me and gives me a bear hug. In reaction I give her one back.
"I missed you!" She exclaimed.
" I missed you too." I awkwardly reply.
"Oh I almost forgot this Jason and he's a.. friend of mine. But I would like you to meet him."
"Hi I'm Jason or Jase and you must be Ariana, your mother has told me so much about. I hear you like to go to the beach" Jason says.
He shakes my hand and I reply "Yea I really play'n in the sand and goin' in the waves. Nice to meet you."
" C'mon lets get some food. I got a chicken waiting to be seasoned. Unless you want to starve." My grandma exclaims.
She was right I didn't realize how hungry I was until now. And my grandma makes the best food.
