A mouse took a stroll

Through the deep, dark wood

The mouse saw Santa,

And Santa looked good

 He was sitting there Proud,

 in red on his sleigh

So the mouse hurried over

Before Santa flew away

 Santa looked worried

And the reindeer did too

And the mouse heard them whisper

"We just don't know what to do!"

 "What's wrong?" said the mouse

But Santa shook his head

So Rudolph looked down

"He's lost his voice," he said

 "Oh no!" said the mouse

"Didn't you know?

You can't have Christmas

Without a HO-HO-HO!"

 "We know," said Rudolph

Looking very sad

"Santa's lost his voice

And this is very bad!"

"Don't worry," said the mouse

"I'll help all I can!"

And he turned on his tail

And into the forest ran

 The mouse hunted through

The deep, dark wood

Looking for the voice

As hard as he could

 A fox saw the mouse

And thought "Hmmm, my lunch!"

But the mouse

gave the fox's Nose a little punch

 "You can eat me later,"

The little mouse said

"But I'm no use to you

 If I'm missing my head!"

 "Oh," said the fox

"Just a little bite!"

"If you do," said the mouse,

There'll be no Christmas tonight!"

 The mouse told the fox

Who said he'd help too

"There's plenty of time later

If I want to eat you."

"Anyway," said fox

"Didn't you know?

You can't have Christmas
