Website 4 – Dangerous Code

It's been a week since I hacked into Hayden's computer and the four of them stare at me all the time in school. Thankfully they never come over to talk to me. Its lunch time and I'm sitting in the library doing my homework. My attention is brought away from my work when the loud speaker come on in the school.

"Could M.K. Aria and Hayden Kingson please come down to the office right away?" The loud voice echoed in the silent library; but neither the less, I packed up my stuff and made my way to the office.

At the door stood Caleb Stone (aka Sheriff Stone, aka Dylan's dad) and coming down the other hall was Kaden, Kyle, Wyatt, and Dylan. I raised an eyebrow at Mr. Stone in question.

"I'll explain later." I told me as we waited for the guys to join us.

"Hey dad what's going on?" Dylan asked glancing over at me.

"We need your help. But we can't talk here, I'll explain it all at the police station." Caleb explain looking at Hayden and me. "And I'm guessing you boys will be joining us." He directed this part to Wyatt, Kyle, and Dylan.

They just nodded.

"Alright. Let's go. Dylan you can take the guys and Aria you can ride with me." The guys nodded in understanding while I just started towards the cruiser that was parked in front of the school. I hopped in and buckled the seatbelt, waiting for Caleb to get in.

The ride to the police station was filled with silence but it wasn't awkward at all. Caleb had the police sirens on and lights flashing letting us through whatever traffic was there. Dylan, I could see in the rear view mirror, was right behind us the whole time.

Pulling up to the station we all rushed in and towards the room where they keep the servers for the station.

"Alright, we have been chasing a hacker who works for the Black Diamond gang and we think we might have found something of his to tell us his location but we haven't been able to crack it. Which would be where you two come in." Caleb finished explaining.

The Black Diamond gang why did that ring a bell?

Hayden and I nodded in understanding before both pulling out our laptops and getting to work.

Looks like I'm not the only one who carries their laptop everywhere.

Both of our fingers flying across the keyboard, typing code and trying to find a way in.

"I'm in." Hayden said and continued to type more code.

That was way too easy.

Looking at the code it clicked as to why it was so easy to crack and also why it looked so familiar. Hayden was about to hit enter when my hand shot out and gripped his wrist, efficiently stopping his movements.

Hayden just looked at me in question. I didn't have time to write anything down so I just spoke, "Move."

The one word made everyone freeze and stare at me in shock but they didn't move.

"Move." I said again but this time in a more of a growl. It seemed to have shaken him out of shock long enough because he rolled back in his chair giving me space to work.

I quickly unplugged everything that was hooked into his laptop. I only had about another 15 seconds. Looking over everything to see if there was any way I could undo everything he had done without destroying his laptop, because that is just cruel.
