I woke up 36 minutes before my alarm. 36 MINUTES! I couldn't sleep very well.

All i could think about was who ever Ethan from the play was and the boy from yesterday.

I got up and stared getting ready for school. Today was day of the meeting for the cast and crew of Forever Yours. Today i would meet Ethan Brown, my future man for the next 3 months. Hannah's words not mine.

I wanted to look good for the meeting so i put on a top with pink hearts on it from Forever 21, high wasted dark denim Jeans, and white sandals that showed off my blue painted toes.

Since i was up 36 minutes early i decided to straighten my curly brown hair.

I applied a little make up then went downstairs.

"Oh you look nice. What's the occasion?" My mom asked.

She was leaning against the kitchen counter still in her pajamas with a green cup of coffee in her hands.

"There's no occasion mom. Can't i just look good? Where's dad i'm going to be late."

"I'm right here!"

My dad walked into the kitchen all dressed in his Mickey mouse scrubs ready for work. He had his phone in one hand and my baby brother, Josh, in the other.

He handed Josh over to my mom then picked up his keys off the counter.

"Let's go." He said to me while heading towards the front door after he kissed my mom goodbye.

"Bye mom, bye Josh!" I called out then followed my dad out.

During the car ride to school my Dad was in some business call on the Bluetooth thing connected to his ear so i did what i do best and stared out the window.

It was a really sunny morning and the birds were...

Oh.

There on the side of the road was the boy from yesterday.

He looked a lot better than he did before. He was in a shirt that actually fit and his hair looked nice, actually combed out this time. They boy was was actually matching too.

He was holding a McDonalds bag and he took out a breakfast sandwich then handed the bag over to some guy sitting on the ground.

The guy looked rough. He desperately needed a haircut, his teeth were yellowing and i think the dirty brown jacket he was wearing used to be white. The guy was clearly homeless and the boy from yesterday was feeding him.

I couldn't help the smile the came across my face. Maybe the boy wasn't so bad.

"Hey Macy!"

I looked up at Stacy Picket and rolled my eyes. What did she want?

Stacy was you're typical school mean girl. She was a spoiled rich girl and she found happiness by bringing other people down. I tried to avoid Stacy at all cost but here she was at my desk in algebra class.

"That's not my name." I said with no emotion.

"I know silly, but you're going to be playing her so i figured you should get used to being called Macy." She replied happily.

I rolled my eyes again.

"What do you want Stacy?" I asked getting annoyed.

"I just wanted to know if you're going to the meeting today. I mean as stage manager and assistant director its my job to make sure everyone shows up." Stacy said with so much pride.

This was news to me.

"Assistant director?"

"Yup. I realized this play wasn't for me. I am way to skilled to be working with amateurs. I became assistant director to get more experience for the future."
