Falling in an uncertainty,
Entering into an endless abyss.
Never ending or bittersweet,
Short and sweet but forgetful.
May we never die, and wake up breathless and scared.
Creatures emerging from the dark,
children praying on their knees, yielding themselves with false hope,
on bended knees.
Reaching to the people I trust.
But they're the creatures
Holding my hand,
leading me to an unknown land.
I'll be alright.
Waking up in a home so bright,
but in a hold so tight.
Suffocating.
Advancing towards me,
I wasn't ready.
I was.
Eyes beady and dull,
distorted and grim,
I was scared.
No I wasn't.
Swallowing me,
I didn't want this,
Did I want to fight back?
No.
Tired, I felt,
Asleep, was I?
Maybe.
I didn't want to give in.
But is it worth the fight?
Worn out,
Unawake,
Devoid of freedom.
I was ready.
Giving up,
closing my eyes, lifting me up,
letting my final breath out,
Peaceful,
Blissful and untroubled.
I'm ready to wake up now
