Back at the hospital, both Nicki and Aubrey had drifted off into a light sleep. When a knock on the door had echoed into the room Nicki had awoken and in walked a nurse ready to check her blood pressure and run one last test.
Nurse: Alright, you're all set, everything seems fine, if you need me just press that little button
Nicki: Thank you so much, you have been such a big help, most nurses don't even want to do their job, but can you send back a pitcher of ice please
Nurse: No problem, thank you
The nurse exited the room and sent back the ice filled pitcher.

Aubrey jumped up out of the reclining chair.
