"Taissa, what do you think about this?" Nancy asked as we sat on the floor if her living room, wedding magazines and notebooks sprawled out. "See, I love the way these centerpieces have small pink and white roses in this one because it matches my bouqet. But the lilies are throwing me off."

I peered over at the images in the magazine Nancy held.

"I think the roses with hibiscus flowers flowers is better," I said.

Nancy gasped.

"Great idea!" She began to look more when she said, "Oh! Were you able to call the girls about making plans for the bachelorette party? Remember, I want to be entirely surprised."

I nodded my head.

"We've already discussed it and we've all chosen a date to organize."

"Good good," she smiled. Nancy put down her pen, sighing. "Taissa, thank you again. Honestly, if I didn't have you here, helping me with this, I probably would have gone mental by now."

Nancy ended up giving her old wedding planner the boot. Turns out I was more invested in the thing than she was, and I was doing it for free.

"You don't have to thank me, Nancy. You're my friend; I'm here for you whenever you need me."

And boy, did Nancy need me.

With there being a decent sized budget, I had to make sure Nancy didn't go overboard. It was hard to convince Nancy to go cheap, as she hated that word. She wanted things as expensive and elegant as she could find.

As we began to clean up the mess we made, we heard the front door open. Seconds later, Harry walked into the living room, followed by Zayn.

I was delightedly surprised to see Zayn, and couldn't hide the big smile on my face when he saw me sitting on the floor.

Harry kissed Nancy on the head, pulling her to her feet. Zayn outstretched his hand for me to take and pulled me to my own feet.

"Hi," he said, wrapping me up in his arms.

I hugged him back, burying my face in his chest.

"Hi," I sighed.

"You two are just adorable," Nancy said, clinging on to Harry's arm. As Zayn and I pulled away, both slightly embarrassed, she looked to Harry and asked, "Aren't they, love?"

I glanced at Harry, offering him a smile that he didn't return right away. Harry cleared his throat awkwardly, nodding his head. He smiled.

"The cutest." He pressed his lips to Nancy's temple before asking, "What's for dinner, beautiful?"

The couple left the room and headed into the kitchen. My attention was brought back to Zayn when he nearly whispered my name. His kind smile was enough to make me feel giddy all over again.

"Harry said you didn't bring your car so I thought I'd take you home. I mean, if you're ready."

I nodded my head.

"Let me just get my things and we can go."

Zayn left to wait in the car while I gathered my things. However, everything but my cell phone was in the kitchen.

Slipping my phone into my back pocket, I headed into the kitchen where a very heated make-out session between Nancy and Harry was taking place.

Embarrassed and surprised that I walked in on them, I looked away, apologizing for interrupting. Nancy giggled like a teenager while Harry tried to hide his face from me as he desperately tried to wipe away the red lipstick smeared across his mouth.
