[Thanks to Kai Hatake (the dog demon) on Quotev for requesting this. Enjoy!]

It started out as a regular day at school. You arrived at the building and walked in, heading to your class. Class was usually boring due to Mrs. Bitters' ongoing rambling, but you could immediately tell that today would be different as soon as you walked into the room.
A boy your age stood by her desk, looking around the room with a scowl on his face. He had shiny grey eyes, and his black hair was back in a curl. He wore a long, dark pink shirt with a pink collar and sleeves, along with black pants, boots, and gloves. On his back was a metallic-looking grey backpack with pink orbs on it. But, the strange thing about him was that his skin was an abnormal shade of green. You realized that he must've noticed you, since he was now glaring at you.
"What do you want, fffilty hyooman?" You raised an eyebrow at his strange way of addressing you, but shrugged it off nonetheless.
"I just couldn't help but notice that you were new here. I wanted to...introduce myself. So... hi. I'm (F/n)." You stuck a (s/c) hand out for him to shake. He stared at it, but didn't return the gesture.
"I am the MIGHTY Zim!" You stared at him before shrugging.
"Okay." You walked to your desk and set your stuff down before sitting. You could feel Zim's grey eyes studying you, but you ignored them as best as possible as the bell rang and class began.

~TIMESKIP~

You were heading home after an eventful day at school when something that looked like a green dog flew past you, heading towards the way you just came from. Shaking your head, you continued to walk on until something knocked you over. Looking up, you saw the dog from earlier, and hanging onto it was... Zim?! Curiosity overtook you, and you chased after them. Finally arriving at a light green house with a blue door, you stopped to catch your breath. As soon as you were able to breathe properly, you walked up to the door, feeling unsettled by the garden gnomes. Raising a hand, you knocked on the door and waited. The door swung open, and two people-a woman with blue short hair wearing overalls and a tutu, and a male wearing a sweater vest over a dress shirt and dress pants-stood at the door.
"Welcome home, son." Raising an eyebrow, you stared suspiciously at the two until...
"(F/n)! What are you doing here?!" Looking behind the parents, you saw Zim walking towards you, a scowl on his face.
"I didn't know you lived here..." He glared at you before grabbing the front of your (f/c) shirt and pulling you in before shutting the door.
"Since you're here, I might as well show you around..." He began to walk off, until something landed on his head. It was the green dog from earlier.
"Hiya masteh! Who's the pwetty girl?" You blushed, despite being confused at the fact that the dog was talking.
"GIR! Get off of me!" The male grabbed the dog, who was holding onto his hair. As the dog was pulled away, his hair came off, and two antannae popped out.
"Z- Zim... Your hair..." The green male looked over to you before looking at GIR, who was holding the wig.
"GIR! You idiot! You blew my cover!" Snatching the black wig from the dog, he dropped him before putting the wig back on.
"Zim...Are you an alien?...Not that there's anything wrong with that! I think that it'd be pretty cool!" He stared at you before sighing.
"Very well then. However, if you tell ANYONE about this, I will do very unpleasant things to you." Taking the wig off once more, he placed it down on the pinkish-purple sofa before reaching his gloved hands to his eyes. Grabbing at them, he pulled off contacts, and revealed magenta orbs that filled the whole area. He placed them next to the wig before turning to you. "There. Now, since I have shown my true self to you, you must give me something."
"What do you mean? I have nothing to give you.."
"Well, you might as well let me try something that I've seen a few hyoomans do before." Stepping closer to you, he grabbed you by your arms and pulled you closer. "After Zim does it, you must explain it to me and its significance." He stared into your (e/c) orbs with his magenta ones, before slamming his lips onto yours.
You stood there, paralyzed with shock as your stomach did backflips and your face heated. But you couldn't help but notice the texture of where his lips would be-smooth, with no bumps or cracks, no signs of lips at all. Slowly relaxing, you began to kiss back, slightly surprising Zim. He pulled away, a light shade of green covering his cheeks. You two regained your breath before you spoke.
"That is a kiss. People do it with those that they love or really like."
"Love? What is this love?" He stared at you questioningly, a nonexistent brow arched.
"Well, love is what people feel with others that they really care about. When someone experiences love, their heart beats faster, their stomachs feel like there's butterflies in it, and they want to be with that person forever." It was then that you started to realize that you were starting to have feelings for Zim. Despite his strangeness and his loud personality- and the fact that he was an alien, he somehow was able to attract you.
"Well, this is most certainly strange news to Zim. However, I have come to a conclusion." He looked back at you, his eyes locking with your once more. "(F/n), I believe that I am having these feelings of...love for you." You were shocked. You weren't sure if you should return his feelings or not. You decided with what your heart was telling you: return them.
"I-I sorta l-love you too, Zim." Your face grew really hot and you suddenly thought that his red and tan checkered floor was more interesting. He placed a three-fingered hand under your chin and brought it up so that you could look at him. His face donned the same shade of green from before before he slowly leaned in and kissed you again. As you two kissed, GIR walked in, holding a pig.
"Oooooh. Masteh and (F/n) sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" You spent time after that laughing as you watched Zim chase GIR around the house.
