Jamal gets off the bus go inside put his book bag in his room and takes off. His clothes just as he was told and goes in the kitchen where he see Dave sitting down eating a sandwich. So Jamal continues to walk to the refrigerator to look for the sandwich Glen said she had left for him but it was gone
Jamal: um Dave I think you grabbed my food on a accident
Dave: your a little dude I didn't grab shit on a accident this is my house so I can eat whatever the fuck I want don't get it twisted you don't want to piss me off cause I'll make your sister send your ass to foster care just as fast as you can blink your eyes
Jamal: then what am I supposed to eat
....Dave takes the sandwich chews it up and spit it back in the plate
Dave: there you can have it
......Jamal just goes back into his room its only around 4 o'clock so he knows he still have a couple hours to go until Glen gets home
(Jamal thoughts) I hate when Glen works late because then I'm stuck with Dave he's always mean to for no reason I want to tell glen but I don't want to mess up anything between them plus I know he will make her send me away I just wish she hurry and come home I guess I'll just lay here and watch TV until she comes
